But how did this happen?

Abdullah Abdullah - my friend, there are many beauty in ISLAM where there is no denying BUT there are some fundemental mistakes in the inital creation of that beautifull ideology cause firstly it is COPIED or as arabs did was to steal all that they didn't have which still shows till this day. modern day mongols are buddhists and Central Asian turks (uzbek, kazakh, kyrgyz, turkmen) are muslim. it's the mongols that were with the turks that reverted.

where exactly can Muslim Mongols be found these days? Iran? Iraq? Syria? Turkey? where? certainly not Mongolia.
They were Turkified. There descendants would exist in the Central Asian Turkic Countries. The Barlas Tribe of Emir Timur was one such example who were Turks that had Mongolian Ancestors.

Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and to a lesser degree Mongolia itself. The Muslim Mongols like myself are the decedents of the Ilkhanate, Chagatai, The Golden Horde and the Yuan Dynasty. The Yuan dynasty(seat of power) remained in Mongolia and thus Mongolians are primarily Buddhists. The Mongols and their descendants still maintain a distinct culture from other Turkic groups, although there are similarities i.e. they are nomadic cultures.

@@MumraThundercats what makes a person who has never been to Mongolia and doesn't follow Mongol culture or speak the language a Mongol? the last time Mongols were a power was like 800 years back. the Hazara are a group based on physical appearance look like their Mongol ancestors but even they don't speak Mongolian or follow the culture.

Yajuj and majuj can only come after coming of dajjal and return of Isa ibn Mariam that did not happen then so they can't be yajuj and majuj
