I wonder if we're missing an organ that detects *something*, something fundamental to the universe that is impossible to explain or understand without it. Like some creatures without ears, or eyes, or a nose can't experience the world through those senses.
Idea: showing you and praising your past forms. Where we are shown and told about an assortment of different little creatures that we once were in a past life, and we get to hear how interesting and beautiful they all were.
