"Beyond the Flow of Time" is my 18 track tribute album to one of my all time favorite games, Chrono Trigger! I worked on this pretty much all day and night through the second half of the summer, reliving so many wonderful memories throughout the process. A literally timeless adventure of a lifetime with fantastic music by Yasunori Mitsuda (and Nobuo Uematsu) that is still so unique to me. Happy to finally have covered this game and I hope you enjoy the album!

Am I the only one that gets watery eyes from this song? It's beautiful and my childhood with my brother and my mom around still. It tears at me in so many ways. I swear this game is so dear to me.

It shouldn't work the way this song smushes together quick-paced jolly maypole-dancing happiness with bright inspiring look-at-the-scenery happiness, that's like pouring syrup on a cupcake.. but somehow it's great.

It's happy but yet makes my eyes rain (lol tropic thunder) but for real, makes me miss my mom. I played this as a kid with my brother so much and she would always be around. It tears my heart out and makes me happy at the same time. I truly love this game and nearly 30 yrs later I can still hum this song. @@angelsoler5344

Not only is this probably my #1 rendition of the song, it really brings me back to my childhood! In my imagination this is how I remember the song being when I played Chrono Trigger for the first time :) . Great work Pontus HultGren !!!!!
That's what I said in the other comment. It takes me back. I LOVE this game. My mom would watch me play it and be around while me n my brother tried to beat it as dumb kids. My mom's since has passed and hearing this really hits me hard. Happiness and sadness with an urge to play the game again. U know it's available in the app store for like ten bucks? I'm gonna get it.

I think this is the best version of this track that I've heard. The instruments, relaxed pace, and inclusion of so much clapping and vocals makes it feel alive and captures that festive feeling really well. Nicely done!

Maybe one day! The Chrono Cross OST is possibly my favorite of all time, but difficult to find a unique take on a lot of those songs

Unfortunately he didn't do far away times and it makes me sad because all the other song are amazing on this album. Far away times is my favorite and it's a shame not to have it on the album.

This is done well as its own arrangement, however it's missing the "oomph" that this song brings to the table, in contrast with other CT tracks.
