Thanks Lesley, obviously they don't earn money from Poo. It's a joke, when we were down there filming the ticket fairy was about, but we stayed on the carpark just to piss him off
Great Videos, but sad as well. I never knew Climping has a Coastal Erosion until I looked on Facebook just now. It’s really sad about what happened. Isn’t there anything that the Council can do to save Climping, apart from Evacuating people from their homes?
@josephharrington4502 Thank you for subscribing and commenting on our channel. in a word no. The EA who look after the beach have had their funding cut, so now it's a bit like Custers last stand, The EA keep banking shingle bunds which are coming inland in an attempt to hold the sea back but it's not working. Over the coming years they will simply allow the sea to reshape the landscape, which will mean the sea will flood the fields on the mill side , the sea is more or less taking land back to how it was in the 1700's , hope that helps
@@JOHNMONO Some help the EA turn out to be. They’re supposed to come up with ideas by saving Climping Beach & to protect home’s & business from floods & erosions, not betray it & give up. Giving up is for chumps.
@@JOHNMONO If I were you, I think about doing a petition to save Climping Beach. They did the same with Langstone, near Havant area when Langstone’s in the same boat as Climping.
@@josephharrington4502 there is already a group fighting this and have a few councillors onboard facebook.com/profile.php?id=100092004491692 currently i'm involved with trying to save a grade A field from having 170 houses dumped on it ,
I don’t know what to think , half of me is pleased because it’s really just nature reclaiming what man took in the 1700s, on the other hand it’s having an effect on others which isn’t so good …
Hi hanmixsenrt thanks for the comment. It really is bitter sweet, i hate the fact people may lose their homes, all this could have been avoided if action would have been taken sooner, the shingle bunds won't stop the sea,
Thanks for all you do in keeping us informed. have shared this to Twitter and have liked FB page x
