Your films are just great. Born in Brighton, I lived on the marina, fishing for days on end, during school holidays, right as the Marina was opened. My mum lives in Eastbourne so I know the places you fish quite well. I'm quite disabled in adult life so getting out is hard, and I live in Dorset so its reallly hard. I've just been medically retired and your work has got me over hard times. So, simply thank you buddy, thank you. I'm a firm subscriber and happy to remain so! Legend.
Thank you , appreciate you subscribing. I also have family in Eastbourne so there will be some more videos from this area too, living right on the marina in 1979 wow bet you saw a few being caught then , thanks again Matt
It’s a balancing act , never giving away top secret marks but providing enough clues to anglers willing to put the work in. Although to be honest the editing process is harder than fishing !
Saltwater Angler agreed re: editing, a timely pursuit. I’ve always fancied trying that part of the coast. A few work colleagues at Gatwick fish there however, I live in Essex so a bit of a journey for me, but thanks again.....a very informative production. 👍
Yea I get that, there’s no real bass mark secrets here it’s just aimed at getting the beginner angler out there looking for them selves. Tried to give a nod to those who need easier access too.
I don't just like this video, I think its well constructed and the mapping makes it easy to follow. When I return to the Eastbourne area, I will take the time to watch this again and commit your tips/hints to memory. Looking forward to the next part from Langley Point onward. Keep up the excellent work and more importantly keep well.
Hi Buddy I was wondering if you can give some advice please, I'm looking for an all-round reel I can use on a 10 foot pier spinning rod (Used for Mackerel feathers & Lures) and also on a 12 ft pier/Beach casting rod (Used for Feathers and bait casting) ! I've narrowed it down to Penn Battle II 6000 c or the Penn Battle II 7000LC what would you say is best or would you recommend the Spinfisher and what size? Many thanks hope you are keeping safe.
Wanna start fishing mainly cause I used to River fish with my da but now cause so much free time what rod would you recommend is best for a starter to sea fishing that's in the Brighton area, love your vids BTW
Maybe check out second hand rods too I picked up an old traditional 13ft rod called the daiwa sandblaster for £50 you get a good solid rod for your money
Hi there, what a great video this is. Your very informative. I don't sea fish but i think ill take it up. Im a fly fisher for Salmon & Sea Trout. Im going to give the Bass a go on the fly. Do you ever fish marks in West Sussex as I live in Felpham, some advice would be welcome. All your hard work producing these films are very much appreciated. Cheers, Ewan MacGregor. 👍
Occasionally I fish West Sussex and actually have done ok on fly from Pagham. Lots of good West Sussex marks for swff.good luck a fun way to catch bass.
Great video mate. I recently moved to Newhaven so it was very helpful. Give me a shout if you are in the area any time and we could meet up for a fishing trip and i can learn a wee bit from you. You mentioned a possibility of Flounder at Denton Island. When i get time i will give it a bash and report back. Cheers Steve
Saltwater Angler seen the llyn videos. Took a lot from them 👍🏻 Was hoping to do some traveling and exploring around there this year to find some tope! Maybe we will be aloud out in time to get on on the bank
Yes, that's for Brighton marina. Whilst there are barriers to prevent you driving to the East end, you do get 30 mins free, so you can drop your kit off and then park in the multistory. The tackleshop here got me set up very cheaply, with great advice.
I don't know where you live mate but Worthing pier is free to to fish. Good spot too. Had bass, big bull huss, conger and a few whiting and I've only been there once! I can't wait for this virus hoax to be over. 🎣
A shame common sense doesn’t prevail, an easy solo fishing trip, safe parking, minimal interaction with anything except fish the sea and your thoughts, could be mental and health benefits during this time, plus saves going shopping if you get lucky.

A beach rod with a fixed spool reel. How about a continental rod - have a look at conti rods under £100 easy fishing for the beach.
Maybe check out second hand rods too I picked up an old traditional 13ft rod called the daiwa sandblaster for £50 you get a good solid rod for your money
Thanks for the tips ... Like the part you showed the parking spot and the post codes to get to the destination...
Cheers Mullu , as always finding your own marks is the best fun though
Thanks for the entertainment.👍👍👍

Hello Steve, love to know how Denton fishes
Would you say that Seaford has the better plaice than Eastbourne beaches do, I’ve never fished Seaford ?
Both good beaches for Plaice but if I had to choose one I’d say seaford. Eastbourne has seen some superb thornbacks too so take your pick !
I used to fish of Newhaven breakwater as a schoolboy, caught a Twaite shad off of it. Shame it’s shut.
nice one i used to fish there as a kid too great
Have you ever fished around the island of Anglesey? If so, I would love to see a video on that! Keep up the excellent work
Yes a few times but the Lyn is the closest.need to get up there again soon
Saltwater Angler seen the llyn videos. Took a lot from them 👍🏻 Was hoping to do some traveling and exploring around there this year to find some tope! Maybe we will be aloud out in time to get on on the bank
Moelfre on the island is a great mackerel spot off the rocks
Do not park in the supermarket carpark you will get fined use the multistorey car park that is free
Is this for Brighton, yes good update thanks
Yes, that's for Brighton marina.
Whilst there are barriers to prevent you driving to the East end, you do get 30 mins free, so you can drop your kit off and then park in the multistory.

Did you fish it during the lock down ?
I've been dying to go fishing
Great video
Yes we’re all desperate to get out I think! I haven’t fished since before lockdown, that was on Eastbourne pier.
Asda car park is only 90 minutes, use multi y story no charg an no time limit
Thanks Danny yes have updated this info appreciate that
Dr vernoncoleman you tube great videos and integrity
Don't park at the supermarket use the multi story
Yes 👍
I've never heard of having to pay to fish a pier. Prices are steep considering its half a day! What if you fish a lot!
Yes I think Eastbourne is also one of the most expensive too at £10
@@SaltwaterAngler Sorry meant to say Great video mate very informative many thanks

Eastbourne ,Hastings , deal admiralty all have to pay in recent years 😒
Shug McGurran it’s common
Have you uploaded this before? It feels like I’ve watched this already.
A shame common sense doesn’t prevail, an easy solo fishing trip, safe parking, minimal interaction with anything except fish the sea and your thoughts, could be mental and health benefits during this time, plus saves going shopping if you get lucky.
I cannot fault a single word you say. What happened to common sense eh?
Except if you crash on the way there or back you are taking away emergency services to someone who needs it!
