Hello! It should depend on what that mold looks like, but as long as it's one that can be placed over a fire, I think it should work! I heard the key is to put a thin layer of oil on the griddle before putting the dough in!

The festivals we have here usually have a taiyaki vendor and they are so yummy. I have only ever had red bean flavor though
