did you watch the video at all? the complaint was about ebay, and how he couldn’t satisfy the person that wanted to buy it. not that he couldn’t sell it. in fact literally ending the video saying he’s about to re list it.
That's the worst thing to do. Shipping internationally now is the easiest thing to do! Using eBay's Global Shipping Program, the second the item gets accepted at the international shipping center in Oregon, you're GUARANTEED your money. Anything that happens after the fact is dealt with eBay and not the seller. If you're not using the GSP, you're missing out on a lot of sales! A lot of my expensive items come from international buyers!
@@Mullratte not if you live in the United States, been selling on eBay for years and have only sold in the USA. I see some good positives to ship internationally but for me personally I’d prefer to interact with Americans.
tf you talking about? shits easy af and you can even set certain areas you don't sell to, my dad flips stuff and since shipment to main and some of NY is too expensive he just doesn't ship there otherwise it's just a label and the norm
Not really I have sold hundreds if not thousands of items and the only issues I've had is USPS stealing packages once and international scams. North America only
That's why I only would sell in the US only. Got burned shipping to a registered Russian address, and they claimed their account was hacked after 30 days.
The big thing is you have to price this sort of thing super appropriately and sell to someone within the United States and even than it doesn’t always work out because it’s an interior truck part that can be easily sourced at a junk/scrap yard and/or local pick n pull
That’s why I longer sell on EBay. A return was never returned and eBay said oh well so customer still has my stuff and refunded money to them. Good luck
Had that happen last week. The buyer never returned the item. 30 days later of ebay holding my money, they sided with the buyer. I appealed and went off on ebay. They reversed the decision within a few hours
The last thing I tried to sell on fleabag was a USA only sale and a guy from AU won the bid. I never got paid, I never shipped but fleabay still got the commission! 🤬
I HATE EBAYS NEW POLICY that allows buyers to not pay for items they win...this has happened quite a few times to me on in the US purchased items....no resolution but to relist.
I sold 84 cutlass tell lights on eBay years ago and the buyer gave me a bad review and I didn’t get the money and the buyer got the taillights for free and I messaged eBay about it even called and never got the money or lights back and the buyer then gave me a good review and still never got anything at all
Had something kinda similar. Had someone reach out about an electrical component i was selling but they were over seas in some area we wouldn't ship to for whatever reason.
You can limit the bidding to only allow bids from the lower 48 States. Had you done that, no bids would have been accepted from anywhere but the lower 48 States....
Im from bahrain (which is close to saudi) , and this happened to me before. I was trying to buy a camera lens from some seller in the USA and it had "International Shipping" on the listing. When the auction ended, it says seller could not ship this to Bahrain. Same thing happened to me with buying a magazine from someone in the UK and when i asked the seller he says they offer global shipping, when i went to checkout it wouldnt let me pay because it wont ship to bahrain, or my address
I tend to ignore any sellers from the Middle East. I’ve turned down three sales in the past six months because I hate international shipping. I like to track items I buy or sell so being overseas it makes it a lot harder. Received all offers and looked at the address and ignored lol
I learned long ago to not do international shipping on eBay. 😢 Mine was opposite, they can use reshipping companies & at that point eBay tosses out all seller protections. Nothing seller can do to know beforehand & eBay just says “sorry, not sorry”.
You're forgetting that ebay takes way more than you account for with final value fees and transaction fees and they take tax off of the total with fees. It's backwards and not seller friendly and on top of that you can't sell anything if you don't promote it at an additional 15 percent. What a racket
I block international shipping. I force ebay to use their international shipping if they want that sale. I end up losing on shipping because I base my shipping on the lower 48.
I just lost a great deal because of this I couldn’t pay because it said they won’t ship to my address. the seller left it on me to figure it out and for the life of me couldn’t get a human on eBay support. Sucks.
Did you tick the boxes for requiring payment immediately and accepting global shipment/individual countries? Sometimes sanctions / shipping size restrictions and tax wont allow this though happens alot! Just cancel and relist
Based on the electrical components and a c-cell lithium ion battery on its mother board(there there to keep the small amount of data stores like the clock and saved station) Saudis have sanctions on importation of dangerous good which the battery is considered. Source: this is part of my job.
Is your job that specific to car centre consoles, or just like electronics importation in general? I figured it would be something broader stroke like avoiding shipping car parts to avoid paying full car import duty(a la 'one piece at a time'), or that the car model is over a certain age, so maybe like environmental emissions laws?
I have a new passion for hating eBay, while yea your item may sell quickly, having a “no returns” policy get overwritten by eBay’s 30 day money back policy defeats the purpose of anything. I’ve had people abuse the system by buying a used phone from me, swapping parts (screen and and back glass) then claiming it arrived not as described promoting eBay to take the money back and having the seller ship the item back… not to mention they take a ton on fees… you’re better off selling your stuff local on Facebook marketplace.
I actually hate that eBay does that. I sold some Paintball Guns on eBay a couple years ago. When someone sent an offer and you accepted it would count as a sale/sold even if they didn’t pay. So I would have to relist it since they didn’t actually buy it, so I would lose one of the free item lists I’d get because of it.
I had it happen to me and on the payment side and a suppert from ebay told me that it was flagged as a full vehicle and couldnt be purchased in case the vehicle was stolen for resale, it was a single tail light for a 1995 ford explorer from china. They gave me a bypass code to get it shipped so maybe try that, hope this helps a bit
Ebay is crap at this. I've had a similar issue before, and literally after this whole ordeal they flagged my account so now NONE of my items sell now. Literally not a single item has sold since, and I used to have items sell all week long. Pretty frustrating how they fúçk with your money like this.
Someone bought a $850 watch from me years ago so eBay charged me $85 for the standard 10% fee for selling items with them. And the guy never actually paid so had to call eBay and tell them and file dispute then got the money back luckily
It’s a scam. The buyers hope that you send the product to wherever and they send you through a vicious cycle of not paying. Whatever you do if they are located in Doral FL do not send it. Your item goes to a warehouse here and because it is so close to Miami airport the item is sent quickly before you even check your messages your item is overseas and your left with moths in your pocket. That or they bid so normal people reach eBay’s cap then don’t pay. Scammers are everywhere these days stay safe y’all.
Just cancel the sale. Go onto your seller profile and u can choose where you will ship to. I personally don't ship anywhere outside of North America and Canada. That thing is too big to ship world wide anyway. U aren't losing much, the chances of it selling oversea's is rare. Been selling for 4 years before I even had 1
That’s BS on eBay part. You would think eBay would automatically exclude restricted items from the EIS program. They don’t ! The Seller gets screwed with defect or in your situation with a lost sale.
eBay's gsp is absolute dog shit. My advice. You can either relist the item and hope someone locally aka us, Canada will purchase it. Or while also relisting the item, try and get into contact with the original buyer. See if he would want to try to use another shipping platform and work it out with him to pay for the item. You may even save some money
Just tell the buyer you will change the title and item description but send the same item for the same price lol I'm sure not every thing is banned in SA

I’m from Saudi Arabia and thats right some time ebay don’t accept our purchases or cancel the order with out any reasons
When you sell an item you have to specifically click a box that says “require payment immediately” learned that the hard way myself
Still even with offers, they arent required to pay right away. I quit sending offers because of that and all the lowball offers
For some strange reason, some seller in the US are not able to ship internationally to Saudi Arabia. This has happened to me before.
Cause they don't want to deal with it I'm sure. I ship all over the world.
What were u shipping to Saudi?? Lol
It's got a radio in it. It's clearly tuned to the wrong radio stations! Capitalist propoganda!
I'm talking nonsense mind you.
Well it works for Bahrain, not sure why not saudi
@controllex_ maybe because it's an authoritarian country and ebay doesn't support that, I'm not sure though.
