He’s a HUGE heart, he’s a team player….he could have tried to be greedy and tried to increase his personal stats but not him! He’s been my favorite player for years now! I remember when he started playing for the Boks, I thought they’d smash him to pieces because he was a bit small, but clearly he’s got bigger brains!!!
They run like that and a 1000 other coloured guys just the same in SA butyou’ll never know their names. They be quietly ending people all over South African club rugby every weekend
@@darrenpotter2553I've been a referee for 15 years. There are many posts on YT explain this. The player passing the ball must be in line with or in front of the receiver. If both of them are running the ball will travel forward relative to the ground. It is still a legitimate pass. The majority of passes in a rugby game happens while players are running. Rugby is not a static game.
That was a stunning try .. what I like about bok rugby is not just their incredible power game but when needed they can cut loose in the backs and score some beautiful tries..
Way better than watching a game 11 minutes of game play and the rest is reserved to advertising......... ONLY AMERICANS will defend their idiotic idea of football 😐😐😐😐😐👀👀👀🏈🏈🏈⚽⚽⚽
Absolutely! Couldn't have wished for a better final. Really excited to see them hopefully push each other to new heights after being underdogs in their pools
The the kick was made, he was running the other direction , shielding the receiver. Turned around immediately after Willemse broke the tackle. What work rate, fitness and speed.
No wonder they call them springboks😅, i could see the refree sprinting from inside but disappeared in few seconds, but the linemen deserve a medal for this one.
Willemse beautiful step, LeRoux beautiful line, Arendse beautiful step. Undoubtedly this is one of my favorite tries in the world. The commentary_beautiful (Smith is no slouch)...
People who don’t understand Rugby talk about Aremsa stepping Smith to finish the movement. People who understand Rugby talk about Willemsa stepping Steward to start the movement.
Nah the finish was special. The first 2 touches are run of the mill rugby but you don't often see that inside-out step pulled off to perfection, especially in top level test match rugby
When 2 players run and there is a legitimate pass the ball will be traveling forward with them. It will look fine because they are moving forward as well. What makes it legitimate is that the receiver is in line or behind the player passing. If the player passing gets stopped directly after the pass the forward movement of the legitimate pass is quite obvious and spectators think the ref is blind. What you should do is look at the position of the players at the moment of the pass. If the receiver was in line or behind, the pass is fine. I've been a ref for almost 20 years and awarded quite a few scrums incorrectly because of this. (It is quite difficult to get it right on the spur of the moment) If one stops the vid at the moment of the pass you will see although rather close, this one was fine.
@@ChapeauRouge921 That's a really good explanation👍 I'm curious however about the potential obstruction.. from a referee's perspective was it obstruction or not? I've seen lots of kick chases being "legally obstructed" if you could call it that by being sort of in the way of the chases. To me this incident looks similar to that. What's your take?
@@justarandomsleepingredpand7324 Another touch and go call. Even after looking at it a few times I am still in doubt. He didn't run an unnatural path and one could argue that he was getting in position for the next move. If it was obstruction it was very cleverly done and not obviously blatant. My first reaction when during the game at normal speed was "Uh Oh, that's obstruction"
Wonder how many times Willie le Roux has thrown the last pass before a try. He's surely the assist king of SA rugby.
True 👍
He's a double edge tbh, he's either GREAT or KAK, no in between

@@GeorgeEsterhuysen-vv1bzthat is a Springbok try, of which Willie played an immense role.
Him and Kolbe started at 7s code. That is why they run gracefully like a springbok.

The more I watch of Rugby the more I like it!
Willemse cold as ice. What a great catch and step.
Skinned him on the outside. Class.
Arendse seems to be such a humble guy. Unsung hero
The touch judge had a better chance of catching Arendse😂😂
Sideline ref showed decent wheels as well.
Got closer then Smith..😂

smith has the best seat in the house. It is so realistic, it feels like he can almost touch the player.
I think England should employ the linesman as sprint coach

And I believe Farrell is still looking for Kolbe.

NFL and its stop start. Super boooring.
Those passes were pretty much QB throws
Rugby much more exciting than NFL. No protective clothing to add . Rugby best sport on the planet !!!
Someone needs to sign that ref who caught him like he was standing still

Not even the football linesman are as fast as rugby linesman, I can't believe that linesman matched Arendse for speed on that line.
Brilliant!
