This band deserves more recognition. Crippled Black Phoenix is one of the best rock bands out there.

I don't know what has happened to this band. I bought the Vinyl and it made me sad that the magic has gone.. I wish I could have seen them live with the original singer. :(
Original singer? The new singer, Daniel Änghede is the "original" singer, because Justin Greaves wanted him since the debut album, he said this in an interview! Joe Volk wasn't therefore the "original" singer.

Stefan Avramov Sorry I'm a German and my "normal language comprehension" is: "first" isn't "original" (I don't know how it is with the comprehension in other countries or in other languages.^^ !!! I'm speaking only for myself and not for the Germans!!!). And so I've never said that I hate Joe Volk, when you're meaning that. He was a good singer, too. BUT also Daniel Änghede. That is my opinion! I didn't like just the the utterance of "original". Well, not "nonsense" in my comprehension. I never wanted to provoke a serious dispute. So listen to the very good music! ;)
Unsure why so many people are complaining the vocals when the majority of the songs are instrumental based anyway, keep up the amazing work and tour perth soon

Just wondering if Lead for Broken Black Phoenix is the Andy Taylor of Duran Duran. Andy has demonstrated over the years that he has a more intense hard guitar edge. Long, Long Time Ago ( 1987) Andy Taylor released a solo album called Thunder. Some really kicking songs so different from Great Duran Duran style. Just wondering

O the shocking news i thought they were more of a post-rock outfit really! Then again their current materials quite differ compared to what they got us used to as of their early efforts .. anyhow i think they definitely have it! Great band!!

I have to admit say that I that understand with SeniorHoof . I think this new singer is best since volk but the music now is so boring.... like a bad version of when they start. if you understand germany this review is right about i say

hangingbollocksofbabylon is not only Volk, is a few players even though I do hold a special appeal to his delivery (gonga too for that matter) and I was lucky enough to see them live on the first album when we just got lost, am still glad you found you new favorite band

Miss Joe a lot, but I think this singer is doing a good job especialy on the new Record where he can sing in his own way.
used to be a strong band, now they're pathetic just like any other indie band.
