The biggest behavioural change in transportation to address climate change is getting people to choose public and active transport whenever possible. Driving electric is less bad than driving conventional vehicles. But breaking the drive-by-default mindset is the real key.
What do i do if, with a car, i take 15 minutes door-to-door, but public transport is an hour once an hour? It's nice to imagine that public transport does everything but it does no, where i live it performs poorly and unreliably.
@@gokkiyoutube there in lies the problem. As individuals we can only choose the best (or least bad) option available to us. In that paradigm electric beats conventional. The larger structural changes needed to enable behavioural change that provide the most benefit are the domain of governments and transport authorities. Sadly, many of those agencies have little interest to invest in public transport to make it a viable alternative. Because bigger and wider roads that entrench car addiction ever further are better vote winners for a 3-4 year election cycle.
I can't afford to make these better choices from my point of view the onus is on big corporations rather than individual action. Individual action won't hurt, but the real monster are entities like the US military for instance which is the largest polluter in the world and the oil and gas companies that continually plunge the planet into chaos. I will make better decisions when i can afford to but radical actions need to be taken against these entities now.
I advocate for Proportional responsibilities. I do my part. But we need to hold the businesses that disproportionately do these things more accountable.
When will they release the 2023 earnings report? Now the price is $0.70. The capital has been destroyed. Please do something to bring the price back above $1.
I agree with these behavious, unfortunately a lot of them are more expensive and average people can't really make that choice. It's up to the governments to implement the necessary incentives and legislation in order to fill that vacuum of leverage that exists in order to push everyone's behaviour. There are many ongoing political efforts in this regard but their velocity suffers from factors that make effective change too slow. Currently i drive a diesel car out of necessity, not choice. If i had a choice i would buy the Polestar 3.

The large amount of mockery of you on social media is very funny. Production of approximately 170,000 cars on the road, a fleet of 3 high-quality and modern cars, and a share price of $0.7 is a confusing thing.
Sell EV based on the INHERENT virtues of Electric cars. If EVs did not have enough power, did not have a supple suspension, buyers like myself will choose the competition (not Tesla, trust me Tesla is NOT luxury, so went the Genesis Gv70 EV route).
