I don't think so. I see fish run from a jig falling in the water above their heads but I never see them run from the trolling motor for some reason. When I get close to the fish I turn the speed way down unless the wind is high and I need the power to stay on the fish. In the summer time they get under my pontoon boat for shade and will get very close to the motor. Thanks for watching and for the comment.
