My Forward unto dawn sets have been sat in a friends basement for nine months whilst I build up enough purchases for him to send a bulk delivery. It’s expensive but tends to work out cheaper if you buy enough. Probably doesn’t work for your everyday Collector but when you’re buying multiples of sets like I do it seems to be the most cost effect way to import.

With the exchange rate plus shipping I got it for £90.00, still £90 granted but sometimes the shipping and tax isn’t as bad as Amazon estimates it on the product page. Whatever they estimate usually halves by the time I get to checkout. It may be different for your region but just thought I’d mention it.
The detail is super nice but I wish they went the cheaper route and used a couple more simplified pieces to bring the part number down. The halo 5 scorpion was 60 dollars. It used rubber tracks and only had 600 pieces but was still a very accurate model.
In all honesty I thinks its the figures and extras that push this set to a price most aren’t comfortable with. If it came with one figure and 1 weapon I think it would have been similarly priced to the 20 in 1 Scorpion. That would have made it cheaper but then people would have been annoyed it only came with 1 figure. It’s not easy.
This would be perfect if not for the ride height. The last Scorpion was low to the ground like it should be, this one feels like it has way to much space underneath the hull

My only real complaints about this set are the shooting mechanism and the price. Other than that, super well rounded set. Glad to see you were able to get one! EDIT: The mini-gun shield piece is used on Mega's shooting turrets.

I can’t see it needing many parts to cover up the mechanism but I couldn’t say if it could be done tastefully without using additional parts. As for the price, my initial thought was it felt expensive but I haven’t had a chance to stack it up against previous version piece counts and and figure count. I’m going to do a comparison video next so I’ll weigh it all up for that. 👍

This set is fantastic. It is a shame about the price which will stop a lot of people from getting it. But coming with 2 Hunters and the other figures. I wish the turret barrel was thicker. Thats the only thing to me that looks skinny compared to the whole vehicle. Other than that, the vehicle is CHUNKY 🙌

the tank looks too tall and the shell to cover the wheels are too much. If you compare it in the game you will realize it. Even me I can make that scorpion more accurate, I dont know why Mega cant

That 90 bucks price is a stab to the heart. I got a haul recently that came with a pelican 2 warthogs a falcon,a ghost and chopper for a hundred!
That’s a great haul price. I remember thinking the 20 in 1 Scorpion was overpriced at the time so I only got one…I regret that decision 😒
