This is the fifth Band Maid song I’m reacting to. I loved this song so much, made me remember being a kid listening to”my” music in my room as my siblings were more into other genres growing up.

And then God heard "No God" and immediately went back to work. My priest told me He, God, wants there to be church everyday now. Something about Maids inheriting the earth. My priest said with no days off, he was going to quit. He even asked me if I had any Band-Maid tickets. 🙁
Normally the live performance is recommended over the MV for sure. However, in this case the MV is really worth watching. Even if you don't react to it and watch it on your own, I think you will enjoy it.

I've purchased 3 Band Aid albums this spring first hearing them. Very talented group. Their rhythm section is so good!

Yes, they do bring it, and also Just Bring It is the name of their five album from 2017.
Ha! Obviously it is! I so want to listen to more...but for now I'm taking my time... but they are so insanely talented! 🤩
I watched one reaction where the reactor did say, that Saikis voice was not perfect in the slower part.
Now, Band-Maid has one big problem. They are such a good Live-Band, that everybody expects them to be always perfect, which is impossible.
Maybe she was not absoluely perfect, but you know what? I D O N ' T C A R E. Everybody who wants a live concert to be perfect, is insane.
That is the wonderful thing with live events, they are never perfect and it is ok.
For me they are the best live band I have ever heard.
I don't know who that reactor is or how they delivered that comment. However, as someone who's done her fair share of recitals, singing and dancing, been in several school choruses for many years and done a few musicals at school, no-one is 100% all the time during a live show. So she had one "bad" moment in one song during an entire show? It didn't bother any of us so does it really matter!? But I can understand if the reactor is commenting on the vocal aspect I suppose it's a valid point to make (just hope they weren't snarky and rude about it). But I genuinely didn't even notice it! Maybe Saiki was trying a new range on that part, maybe she had a sore throat, maybe she was just tired, or maybe she wanted to play around a bit to change things up!? Personally, that's why I love watching and listening to live music. You get unique performances to the same song every single time! 💪🏾💚😊🎶
Every woman in this band is very clever, talented, and dedicated. 99.9% of their performances are perfect, even when improvising. They also play insanely long sets so if Saiki struggles every once in a blue moon, I am perfectly ok with that. The show was still fantastic, and that's what it's all about for me anyhow.
They are all so unassuming each with their own individual, understated elegance... and then they come up with such power and finesse when they play. Band-Maid as underrated as they are, are an important musical force that the industry and music fans worldwide will have to one day, reconcile!
Do you think they'll get big her (States) like we all hope they do? The reactions gotta be helping, world wide too. I hope they tour America again and more than 3 stops
@@allanalt8958 I agree, Allan. More US / EU / Asian events, festivals, opening for big acts, interviews with translations, late night TV, cheaper, more accessible merch with better sizing... to name a few. I think it's all coming.
The MV is quite spectacular - definitely worth a watch...oh, just noticed we have the same headphones.

The MV for tis song is actually pretty epic.
A lot of reactors try that whole "once a month" thing and fail a couple songs in because once you hear BAND MAID, trying to resist listening to more immediately is pretty impossible :p .
This performance was from a virtual concert with no audience (due to COVID). The girls are just dying to put out some additional material and the big concert they had planned at Budokan in 2020 had to be canceled. If you listen to a song called "About Us" ... it is the bands love letter to the fans ... apologizing for not being able to bring us live performances and telling us that they miss us. We miss you too BAND MAID!
This online show was actually performed on the date of the cancelled Budokan show.
Okay, so I'll have to check that out. Feels like every other comment is someone telling me the music video is epic... who doesn't want to see epic!? I'll have to check it out once I'm done replying to everyone's comments though. 😅💚🤘🏽
@@Stanzishouse Typically, the lives are better from a music and showmanship perspective. They don't just play the songs the same way they are on the recordings and frequently add or change things. In some cases the MV is really well done and very worthwhile or there simply isn't a particularly good live video. Warning, Thrill, and Real Existence, are songs where both the live and studio versions bring something special. The Thrill MV is pretty bland, but is special to fans since it was their first video and is kind of a look back at where they came from. If you are debating ask and you'll surely get at least a dozen replies.
Best over-all rock band on the planet. Not to mention the worlds happiest drummer !

Great Reaction! 9 out of 10 times live is always better with BM. But the production video is pretty damn awesome! They play on top of moving cars and there are explosions and stuff. Band Maid Forever! PO!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
So...Relatively new to the band and have already noticed several things...I can't listen to them when I drive...they ramp up...so does my speed...no bueno...the other is that I enjoy listening with ear buds and creating my own personal "mosh pit"..no explanation needed!..Lol.😆

Btw, in that pace, it will take you nearly 20 years to catch up with their pace. Band-Maid already have 110+ songs and has been releasing a dozen or so new songs every year.
You might want to reconsider your pace, though😉

Wonderful reaction and no matter what my mood is, after listening to Band-Maid I'm always left smiling. Over the last 65 years I've had a lot of favorite bands that I listened to all the time and some that I still enjoy listening to today, but there is something different about Band-Maid that is difficult to put into words, it's a feeling, an emotion, that I never got with other bands. I never get tired of listening to their songs and with around 100+ to pick from, hours of enjoyment. Glad you discovered them and are featuring them on your channel to help spread the word about this extremely talented band.
I agree and feel the same..I am 51 come Sept and I totally get what you mean..There is just "a something" about/with these Ladies that isn't quantifiable. If that if that makes any since? Maybe they are Enchantresses?..Both their music and personalities are rather spell binding....🤔..PO!!

Great review! If you're going to review one song a month,it will take about 5 years just to get through what's on RUclips today. Then there's the new songs they release every year. I have yet to hear a bad song,so there's no risk for you to listen to any of their songs. Have fun.....
