- First time ever hearing the song Manners by Japanese rock group #BandMaid
This is the 6th Band Maid song I’m reacting to. The “slower” tempo of this one was just what I needed this day as I was insanely tired - I’m surprised it’s not even more visible because I felt like I could fall asleep at any moment - so this song was enough to keep me awake and entertained. I’ve listened to it a few times by now and I really like it - maybe just me but it feels very 70’s rock to me, and I so like that!

Absolutely love Miku's harmonies and screams in this live version of Manners. Much more prominent than the MV.

Now, heavy rains continue in Japan and damage is occurring. I am also evacuating at home. BAND MAID brightens my life at home. The dangerous situation is likely to continue, but I hope it will clear up soon.

There are many other all girl bands in Japan, who have the same technical quality, but no other has so much different songs in different genres like Bandmaid. If they want, they just change a song a littel and it sounds really different. Have not heard anything like this from any other band.
And no other band has someone like Miku. Everything said.

Constanza glad you did not pause during Kanami`s solo , the song is basically about Band-Maids journey , check out the lyrics .
I tend to think that Miku's derisive laugh is aimed at their skeptics.

Groove is the exact right word to use here. Ahh, so you'll have time to consult the Stephen Hawking book we see on your piano before you watch "Black Hole"! (I suppose also since the word "evolution" appeared in "Manners", your Richard Dawkins book might also apply to this one? Or maybe save that one for Band-Maid's "No God" song? ... :-)
