Is it not possible to run a 2.2 monoblock speaker system? 2 speakers and 2 subs, one of each on each amp? Or does it not send a signal out from the sub out if it's monoblocked?
About that stereo/mono switch .... Reconfiguring the TPA3255 from 2xBTL to 1xPBTL is not guarded by the chip's protection circuits. This means that it is not safe to flip that switch while music is playing... it will fault the amp, shutting it down, and it may not come back on! Before your viewers run into trouble... you really should make a video showing them what happens when you do.
Z, in the description you mention THESE op amps, meaning that's the op amps you had input? Seriously thinking about swapping op amps after I get my units because this sounds convincing. I can't really decide on BurrBrown or Sparkos. The Burson option seems good too.

Just wait till you get the Aiyima A70 which has XLR inputs and variable sub out 12v trigger etc It's on preorder and will ship march 20th and is the most expensive AMP ever from Aiyima at $189 Cant wait to get my hands on one
It looks like it is not a bridgeable mono block. When it was tested on a dyno it made 2x 95wrms @ 8 ohm's and 2x 175wrms @ 4 ohms OR 1x 109wrms @ 8ohm's and 1x 190wrms @ 4ohm's with the 48v brick. When running this amp in mono it looks like all it is doing is shutting down one channel to protect it. By buying 2 and running them in mono all you are gaining is 15w. Hardly worth it? ruclips.net/video/fICMe0QvYrE/видео.html
Not exactly a preferred terminology regarding the possibility of a mischievous or curious heart flicking the mono/stereo but yes mate, not the best locale.

In monoblock mode, would you need to run two subwoofers if you were connecting them to the ZA3 and not out of a preamp?
I believe you only need to send one of the amps Sub-Outs to run only one subwoofer.
@albe1796 Yeah but its only pushing the bass info from one channel. So its weird.
I'd love to hear a review from you on Buckeye Amps Hypex mono-bois
They just raw boards? Cool but hard to review/sell to normies.
No, they are fully assembled amps. I have a 3-channel Bukeye Amp. No regrets
I'am thinking of making my HomeGrown loudspeakers active, by these as monobloks, always Likes your tests. 😊👍
This or the Sabaj A10a?
Imagine a version 2.0 with just HDMI input to connect to tv arc hdmi to control with tv remote
I was thinking of the new Smsl ao300 which has a built in dac but now i see fosi za3, just wanted to know if it can drive q acoustics 3050i tower or i should look elsewhere?
ao 300 turns off at higher volume, zeos talks about it in the review, I had ao 200mk2 and it was not as good as the 3255 amplifiers. buy aiyima 07 max or fosi za3 and some dac plus wimm pro. I have this q3050i, if you want something more expensive, buy topping pa7, that's what I did.
@@AdamMrozek84 thanks for the update, or shall I go for class AB like marantz pm 6007? Will it sound better with q3050i?
@@immanuelsuresh7739 For me, the pa7 topping is better than my Yamaha a-s 1100 amplifier, I sold it and the pa7 stayed, try the fosi za3, if you don't like it, return it.
Is it not possible to run a 2.2 monoblock speaker system? 2 speakers and 2 subs, one of each on each amp? Or does it not send a signal out from the sub out if it's monoblocked?
I haven't tested that. It SHOULD be possible.
@@ZReviews Live stream from Fosi a couple days ago happened, according to them, it can be done, head-person mentioned he was going to message ya.
I may get one of those to replace my drsk amp.
Hello Does the Fosi Za3 support an 8 ohm speaker?
Yes.
@@ZReviews Thank you.
I hope I love anything as much as Z loves monoblocking
You gotta try the new Cerwin-Vega LA series speakers...they will blow you away for their price .
Haven't touched CV in a hot minute
@@ZReviewsHello, can you hear the hiss from the tweeter up close like in Fosi v3? Best regards
@@AdamMrozek84This…what’s the noise floor on these when nothing is playing
Actually...Thieaudio is obsessed with Roll Royce model names. Ghost...Wraith...etc.
Sold! I bought 33 of them
What the FUUUUU are you doin' bro?
MOdhOusE tUnGSteNs!! Can't wait to get a couple pairs for the wife and I.
DO IT
Z, in the description you mention THESE op amps, meaning that's the op amps you had input? Seriously thinking about swapping op amps after I get my units because this sounds convincing. I can't really decide on BurrBrown or Sparkos. The Burson option seems good too.
No the THESE ones are ones I found but never tried. They look wild.
The Oracle ones are the ones I bought for it.
lul theyre expensive though
Nice keyboard Zeos, hope you are enjoying the thock 😁
Is this a good match for the Buchardt P300?
Yes and yes.
Yes and yes. Especially in mono.
To my understanding, going monoblocks and using a sub out just necessitates two subs (one for each amp). I could be mistaken though.
I happen to have two matching 12" jamo subs to test with. Just need to get 2 more amps so I don't need to pull apart my theater again.
Off topic……..BTR15 review when??? 👀
Started playing with it a few days ago.
This is gonna be a doozy of a system when i get done being too poor to buy nice stuff.
I have a set of old Sansui cabinets that im going to transform into a doominator set up. If i can find all the right drivers.
Is it better than smsl a300? good job, as always
Yeah all these new Fosi amps are just killin' it.
Hey Z I'm waiting for the Tungsten (single and double-sided) review! Would this monoblock setup be better than a Jotunheim 2 or a Mjolnir 3?
Would love to know this as well
200W - So meaning 100w x 2 and is that in RMS?
Most normal amps are reported in RMS. So yes
Fiio JT1 when ?
13:24 Damnit, this made me laugh.
Just wait till you get the Aiyima A70 which has XLR inputs and variable sub out 12v trigger etc
It's on preorder and will ship march 20th and is the most expensive AMP ever from Aiyima at $189
Cant wait to get my hands on one
It looks like it is not a bridgeable mono block. When it was tested on a dyno it made 2x 95wrms @ 8 ohm's and 2x 175wrms @ 4 ohms OR 1x 109wrms @ 8ohm's and 1x 190wrms @ 4ohm's with the 48v brick. When running this amp in mono it looks like all it is doing is shutting down one channel to protect it. By buying 2 and running them in mono all you are gaining is 15w. Hardly worth it? ruclips.net/video/fICMe0QvYrE/видео.html
I’m waiting for the supreme commander Xi edition!
Why do you sound like Robert Downy Jr? Or AKA Tony Stark?
Confidence.
Not exactly a preferred terminology regarding the possibility of a mischievous or curious heart flicking the mono/stereo but yes mate, not the best locale.
Ok this gave me a chub
thanks....
I need a company called Fuch to come out so i can have a fuck shit stack
put it with 2 ohms rated speakers and they will explode with quality as monoblocks
Who even has speakers of 2Ω?
me, handmade@@ZReviews
