Just to be clear higher tech process is more fragile to high temps but faster. So they are faster, can contain more cores in same chaplet and consume less.
I was thinking about leaving intel bc of the 13th and 14th gen serie and that new ultra series but when i saw that ryzen cpu i knew i have all the rights to move out💀
@@ChickenGMD well technically it is still Ryzen as its called Ryzen Threadripper but considering its not intended for Gaming I really think AMD needs to take the Ryzen out of its name, if a CPU with over 5X more cores than the 5600X can lose to it in gaming it should not have Ryzen in its name
when will they decide to make high-performance computers that require as little electricity as possible? soon they will consume as much as air conditioners

Well the 4090 is not even a gaming GPu anymore, and people that have loads of money prefer buying Nvidia because of RT (I hope people who have a 4090 don't use upscaling) and AMD doesn't profit enough so they just make budget and midrange GPUs.
@@bobystko234upscale for what? 8k? They can run 4k max just fine. Upscale is trash to the eye. Everything is blurry and has artifacts. Even they want 8k upscaling the vram is still the same as 3090 with little shitty nvidia 24 gb gddr6x
4090 isn't a good gpu. it's overclocked to hell and the tdp is insane, all in one power cable. i'd rather have a good balance of price/perf and efficiency, with good software and hardware features. 4090s won't last 10 years like gpus of the past. gpu repair channels also say these 4090s wont last for a long time.
@@sturmgewehr449your whole statement is bullshit and ridiculuous first tdp of 4090 is perfectly fine which is 350W and secondary 4090 has the most potential to overclock.
1500Watt PSU coming in!
If you're using a threadripper you already had a PSU that big tbf
Most American home can only use up to 1600 from each outlet soon we r gunna have to build new houses to play games

this thing is gonna break my head if it has like 10GHZ
@@ImZSoloexcept threadrippers arent much faster in terms of GHZ compared to normal cpu’s
1. Другое размещение чиплетов
2. Меньше частота, то есть там ниже вольтаж. Что и дает маленький TDP

That’s not ryzen one 😅. It’s threadripper
Well intel for gaming is dead this generation, but this isnt a ryzen its a threadripper.

For a workstation CPU, that's a great achievement, I wonder how they'd perform compared to Intel's Xeon CPUs 🤔.

That is where ARM is going
@wil-fri the problem is we'll have to see if arm will offer high performance at low power consumption
Unless you’re talking about Intel, they do

is 96 cores a new thing? just looks like a standard improvement over last threadripper

amd's gpu's are rly good for raw price to performance

like they make their OP cpu's
