that’s because if you freeze frame when he gets shot with the laser eyes, you’ll notice he uses his claws to block the beam. The beam never touches his clothes.
@@felixfungle-bung4688 they aren't lasers. Cyclops' eyes are portals to a dimension full of red kenetic concussive energy. When he opens his eyes, the kenetic, concussive force is released. And yes, it can create heat from long exposure and intensity... Like banging a hammer on a surface extremely quickly. But small blasts and bursts from his eyes will not cause heat damage unless they are concentrated usually with the aid of his visor. This Deadpool has the same ability and thus it should work the same.
@ukyba I know Cyclops' story. The whole debate on lasers vs. kenetic energy is pedantic. Kinetic energy is the energy an object has because of its motion, like wind and cars. Lasers are concentrated beams of light with a specific wavelength. Lasers can create Kenetic energy, and kenetic energy can create heat due to stuff like friction. Might as well call it Kenetic Lasers beams or kenetic wind. At the end of the day, it's messy, and they should've reconned it better.
@@felixfungle-bung4688 The point is that it's not lasers. And therefore it is not inherently hot enough to burn through things without extended exposure or a more concentrated/focused beam.
kinetic energy can create heat, as heat is essentially the total kinetic energy of the particles within a substance; when an object's kinetic energy is transferred to another object, this transfer often manifests as heat energy, meaning that moving objects can generate heat through collisions and friction.
Ngl this is an amazing movie. I do hate the inclusion of "Deadpool" tho. Would've been much better of that marketed that character as someone else or an entirely new character

honestly the character to me seems like mimic but they just wanted to put deadpool’s name on him. also this movie would’ve been much better if it was R rated especially with the wolverine savertooth fights
I think that’s cuz when his head was cut off. He became unable to control the strength of the lazy. Through out the xmen comics, cyclops was always able to choose the strengths of his laser beams. And since “deadpool” got the power from cyclops, I’d assume the same thing goes.
Back in the 80's a bunch of us came up with the theory that "super-heroism" extends to ones' clothing as well. Of course, there's also the "Mermaid Man" theory - "The Power's in the Suits; Why Else Would We Wear Them?..."
Okay, if you know anything about the X-Men cyclopsis optic blast, it's not a laser or an energy weapon... it's always acted as a concussive blast, actually cyclops's eyes are linked to another dimension the force leaving his eyes is that power from that dimension however the Ruby quartz lens covering his eyes is able to narrow the concussive blast to any size or width.
Those eyes was cyclops eyes when sabertooth caught him stryker or anyone must have amputated scotts eyes and attached it to wade wilson Also those eyes do not shoot lasers thats optic blast
Answer because his power is concussive so it pushes back, the concrete is thus being destroyed because its being blasted back….think like a wrecking ball, it wouldnt do severe damage to a persons clothes either but it would smash through a building
The people writing or drawing Cyclops always mess up Cyclop's ability. Even if simply "punch blast" friction or the kinetic force would never just push a person backwards. Powerful speakers can nearly tear clothing, so his blast that are able to cut through a mountain would at a low blast still tear flesh & clothing off.
I would think it would be interesting if they took this version and made them an MCU version of Dreadpool. Only to be killed after Deadpool sacrifices himself, and has his friend, Thor crying over his dying body.😂😂
They never get his beams right. In age of apocalypse his beams are hest vision and melts everything. But in the comics it's concussive, as in force. It's like being hit by a freight train.
It is kinetic blasts not heat the reason wolverine's claws heated up at all was due to the massive friction from the blast hitting his metal claws. Sabertooth was literally just punched by his eyes not shot with laser or heat vision.
It’s not laser Optic Energy Blast. Cyclops can project a beam of heatless, ruby-colored concussive force from his eyes that, at maximum force, is sufficient to tip over a filled 5,000-gallon tank at a distance of 20 feet, or puncture a 1-inch carbon-steel plate at a distance of 2 feet.
This issue is every iteration of Cyclops, no consistency with his optic blasts. If he can blast through buildings he could put a hole if anyone or even if hecwas trying to be nonlethal a hit would put almost anyone out of the fight but they always have even randos shake it off like a punch.
Idk what everyone's big deal is, i didn't hate this version of wade. He was actually kinda cool, and he can teleport.
