Fun Fact: The kind of people to complain about noise or pollution from a race track while knowingly buying or renting a home by said race track and then suing or petitioning to get it shut down are also the kind of people who don't need a purse or hand bag, since there's plenty of empty storage space inside their skulls for that very reason! The only thing worse is land developers who buy land by race tracks and then lobby to have the tracks torn down because it offends their brainn't somehow despite objectively raising land values. On that note, everyone support Bradenton and the Freedom Factory against the smooth brain land developer who is trying to have those shining stars of the North American car scene torn down to build super cheap cookie cutter corner-cut homes to line their own pockets and nothing else.

Part of the reason MotoGP is not at Laguna anymore is because of those neighbors not liking the sound of the motorcycles over the weekend, including all of the spectators riding their motorcycles. Irony is, that track has been there longer than the residents have lived in those homes so they have zero leg to stand on and they're a bunch of snowflakes.

That race circuit brings a lot of revenue to that City in the way of hotel accommodations, restaurants, and taxes so its not likely to happen. Those people will eventually realize that if they want to win that badly, they are going to have to spend a lot of money on very good attorney's to make it disappear. If that were to even come close to happening, the motorsport world would be in a massive upheaval to retain it though. Its a storied track with massive history. All kinds of racing series have been here over the years, and those sport organizers wont let it disappear.
