Hey im thinking of turboing my 2.0 8v agg gti but what pricerange should i think about 1.8T is the cheapest option but a 8v turbo would be am iconic build in my region so that would be my pick Is 2k possible including an engine rebuild? And what did you use for full rebuild?
what tune you have in this??? i been looking a BBMs stage 1 turbo aba 8v tune for mine.. trying to find good reviews and i like how your afrs are on point... i wish VWs were like hondas with tuning. so i can just tune it myself but cant find that kinda software

Np It really depends on how much you are flooring it , if you just go easy on it it get you normal fuel consumption, but if you gun it It will eat fuel lol I had the green bosch 440cc injectors on it

Kali Schryver swaped for what motor? Aba are fun and strong motor if you reinforce it for a turbo but idk what motor you have in mind for a swap? Also that stock aba transmission only last 1 pull with turbo so start looking for another 2 or 3 more of those. Or swap a o2j mk4 2.0 trans with tdi 5th gear that’s a nice set up. My advice

Robert Colwell don't do stock internals that is just waiting for shit to happen , that cheap way to build motors never end good. And not mine is not stock internals and yes Ported head not polished because is turbo forced induction . N/a is the ones you need polished.

grady smith yes still active. But what make you think the one of my cars is a v6? They all mostly 8v turboed. I personally don’t like the 6cyl, but you can turbo anything if you have the money.
grady smith well all depends on what you want to do a stock turbo vw doesn’t pass 200hp and a custom 2.0 build can make 650 to 700 hp just check the 2.0 8v turbo group on Facebook and you will get your answer

Blaise well technically yes you can. Now will it be safe to do it? nope. Will it lats longer? Nope If i you all ready have money into the motor in order to benefit and make that money all ready spend worth it. I will save some and buy me the internals. So at the end that money all together is well spent. Otherwise the first time money you spend is thrown to the trash and you starting all over again. My advice. Im talking from experience 😂

BoostedEg Hatch that chip is for obd1 I all ready check it. Or unless you car is obd1 then is fine. Obd2 is different

Not enough. Lol safe like really safe and make it lats longer like that is 8psi. If you go over that ! You will start to see problems eventually.
I'm running 25 psi on a stock OBD1 bottom end
