Recently downloaded this from Gamepass on PC. Thoroughly enjoyed it, the story while cheesy was great. Certainly more fun than I've had with GT7's "Career mode"
Have you tried it on Logitech G923? Does it still support TrueForce? If it is, it will be a day 1 buy for me, I really like it on grid 2019, and hope it returns in this game
No damage and battered body parts falling off or vibrating, no colissions, Flat 2d UI menu not like the 3D Racedriver grid menu, it was more immersive. Labels also lacking this 3d pop. All texts look too flat. Music like race driver grid? Racedriver grid music menu 1, menu 2, and intro were insanely good.
No damage because he's not crashing. Crashing causes scratches, loose parts, dented panels, etc. Eventually chunks start falling off, and with some cars you can pretty much get down to a bare chassis if you work at it. A good damage model is a hallmark of every Grid game but none of them go as far as Wreckfest. However, crashing isn't the purpose of the series. When you are skilled enough you won't often find yourself crashing
@@thesensiblestreamer2958 Crashing is not necessarily your personal mistake, and a game has to reach some amount of realism or belivability whether you can drive or not. Then, body parts has to go Inside and OUTSIDE. They simply wanted to have minimal work to do, and minimum processing. It's mostly surface mapping work and ON/OFF visibility tricks. You don't seem to see the difference with grid 1. In grid 1 the legs of the cockpit fall off if your car goes upside down. Well I fail to see videos with convincing damage model of this Legend version.
They want to attract the Mario kart people to buy this game. They don't care about loyal users of grid. I want the pure racing simulation version not the dumb story Mario kart version.

I have had a great time playing it with my Fanatec set up, You are correct, After running the intense sim racing platforms this is a good cool down to just relax and have some fun.
@@iqbalhussein5434 I get that. Neither was the OG Grid but it had Sim elements. The first game had pit stops which made for a great race with the hustle and bustle of the first few laps. The OG Grid was magical not as good as BTCC but it was still a great racer.
It's a good game but must some patch, athe the rain the tires must be visual rain tires, some online players are inexplicable faster with the same car(5-10s/lap) 🤔🤔🤔
I can attest to this. Tried it on a TGT ii upon release, feels very natural provided the rotation is set correctly. I wasnt a fan of driving with a wheel on the past GRID games and I feel Legends got it right this time. Great fun
The trick to curbs in Grid 2019 is simply go easy on the accelerator and steering while on top of them. It's generally raised curbs that cause spinouts. Flat apex isn't as lethal
Have you tried the TC-1 Specials or the R26? Grid 2019 often feels fast to me, but I have world record lap times. But is a sense of speed even real? Oftentimes, people on the highway IRL doing 75mph+ have no real sense of speed. In Grid Autosport, the faster you go the faster the camera shakes. In Grid 2019 the camera is very firm. When driving down the highway at high speeds there's a certain stillness. There's no camera shake. In real life, it's very easy to be driving faster than you realize. There is a sense of acceleration, but perhaps no such thing as a sense of speed
You're not a fan of amplification X and Y limitations. Grid requires you to spend hours adjusting the controller limits. The in game adjustments are simple but they radically change the cars performance. They're not even close.
In the preview I played, using 540 degrees of rotation the wheel in game matched exactly what my wheel in reality was doing, and it felt natural. There is also a cockpit view with no visible wheel if there are any issues with rotations and syncing. All of this is the first preview build, so subject to change but so far so good it seems!
The wheel was synchronized for me when I set it to 540 degrees (in my own profiler) and there are multiple onboard camera angles in different positions, with/without the wheel and drivers hands. Again, this is a preview build so I can't say yet what options will or won't be available on full release. I'm confident all of these concerns you mention will not be an issue though🙂
The only content you'd be missing is a few Grid Edition liveries and an XP boost. Although it might be cheaper to buy Ultimate Edition as opposed to buying the base game and seasons separately
There needs to be a bigger focus on multiplayer or it will die after a week like the first game. Gamers in 2022 aren't interested in the A.I experience.
This comment is so out of touch with gaming. First, it wasnt the first game, the series is very old. Second, many People prefer chilling by racing with an Ai and having fun without sweating
