Cut some pieces of 5 gallon bucket the same color cut in strips then melt the plastic to it with a heat gun. preheat area until it is shiney. stronger than the skid strips.
I work part time at a lake. It pains me to see folks dragging their canoes & kayaks on the ground. It’s like using 10 grit sandpaper on it every time it scrapes the ground. Get in from the side when it’s completely in the water next to the shoreline or bank.
Agreed! Or don't be afraid to get your feet wet and get in once fully floating. I loaned my canoe to some friends while I was in my kayak and they beat the SH*! out of the bottom of my Royalex MRC - not impressed - and never again.
Hi JT. No, I don't think there is a retailer that sells this in America but we do ship there. Shipping would be cheaper if you wanted to get a couple of mates to order as well.

Would this work on a fiberglass canoe do you think?
Turned out great. Can I mail you my kayak for installation lol.
Very neat. Thanks for the demo.

How does this hold up. We have a lot of oyster beds where I live.
Hi David, As long as it is applied properly, there should be no problem.

Don’t lend nobody nothin’, never!
Well done.
hi nice video, but where can i buy this?
HI Juergen. This is the link to the product www.chillcheater.com/keeleazy-keel-strip/keeleazy-canoe-skid-plate
Cool except for the obvious creasing going on. Kevlar strips don't look nearly as nice, but far more durable.
