That bitters bottle was awesome. Prayers for John's family. This channel is a place where you can get family feelings whenever you need it. God bless you and your family. Thanks again.
Here In Italy people used to keep their bottles instead of throwing them in the dump or in rivers, so there are not many old ones to be found. RIP John, my thoughts are with his family and friends.
That would be awesome, a memory of a lifetime for those kids!! If that bottle turns out to be a rare one, place another bottle you’ve found in that creek for em.
RIP John 🕊️. Prayers for the family 🙏. Great finds.....my mom talks all the time of drinking Nu Grape at my great pa's store on lookout mtn near Gadsden. You should do what you said with the bottle.....

I'm sorry for the loss of your friend. I'm a nurse and my unit takes care of intermediate care COVID positive patient (more sick than general hospital bed, not quite ICU yet). What I've seen will stay with me for my life and it's been so sad :( I hope the family has been able to heal from their grief.

I know those Dt. Hotesters bottles are fairly common but they've always been a favorite of mine. I never could find one back when I was doing a lot of bottle hunting but I did get one as a gift and it's still in my collection and still one of my favorites. P.S. Praying for your friends family!
Excellent bottle finds! That Craw fish looks like it has a screw bottom to fit a bottle. Also, it's nice that you got a truck that has the 'bottle display' option!

Great video. Good finds as well. Indeed this covid stuff is no joke. Buried my (brother) in law a month ago from covid (61) my daughters father in law is n the hospital just put him on a ventilator, my daughter had it her hubby 4 day stint in hospital is now recovering, I went to the emergency with it, taken 2 weeks to start feeling better. All last year it went from not knowing anyone who had it to losing a few people. Be safe out there!
My condolences to the family. I just bought one of those bitters bottles with part of Christmas money for 35. Don't really know if that's a good price. But it's my first bitters.
I found a damaged but whole Hostetters in May '19. A small hole & cracks on a slick side.BM is 60 I.G.Co.L Illinois Glass? It has some pearlescent sick and a frag of lead seal . It was an 1880s-94 trash field, somewhat uncovered for a City project. One from ten years ago had lip issues. Hostetters seemed popular out here, but also all over the West. My first Hutch 8 May 2009 Waialua Soda Works 4pc mold, near gem with stopper. Found with small handclaw in grove just in mouth of Kaiaka Bay. Up to 18 Hutchs, last one a duplicate, except amethyst with a slight lip crack, right here near my home. Found a slick 1880s-90s Budweiser the other day, a leveright from the '80s diggers. Amber slick. BM "A.B.G.M. Co." 1 band cork lip.
To make it more exciting, can't you tell us what they are worth? Thank you! Loved the pretty creek & falls! Sorry, about the lose of your friend.R.I.P. Babs Ann from MO

Did that old Coke bottle you found at 3:13 go over the waterfall you show at 4:34? Amazing it survived!
Hard to say!
What do you want for that Nu Grape ? Hattiesburg is my home 👍🏼😏

Could you show us what these 3 items look like once they are tumbled?
I love your videos
Dr Hoffstetter? The guy who lived with Shelton Cooper was pretty bitter, possibly related 🤔🍻
Haha
Condolences to John's family.
How long do you soak rusty things in the CLR ?
Really depends. The locks spend at least 48 hours small items take less time.

To make it more exciting, can't you tell us what they are worth? Thank you! Loved the pretty creek & falls! Sorry, about the lose of your friend.R.I.P.

I try not to shift the focus on to value alone. Of course the bottles have value but I want people to enjoy the history and story more than the value.
