I no longer struggle to know the difference between a Routine and a Project. It's something that should probably be taught in junior high as a mandatory life skills class. Because now that I understand it, it seems easy, though it wasn't at first. It's freeing, clear and I feel together. Thank you for explaining this so well, April - with your wonderful husband Eric making the behind the scenes magic happen. ❤
Anytime you say “we’re so glad you’re here!” I believe you!! That’s a rare find in the online space. Thank you for your heart and for being unwaveringly genuine. I’m a “becomer” for life!
Why am I just now learning this at 48 years old? Seriously, this should be REQUIRED LEARNING in public schools. Can you IMAGINE how our workforce and economy would benefit from kids learning this in...I dunno, probably 3rd or 4th grade! It could be part of the core curriculum and they could learn it in age appropriate levels and then be repeated and practiced every year.
I totally agree-things would be easier for all of us if we learned skills like this early on. Our daughter created a “STEP for Students” program to help with this. It would be amazing if this were taught in schools! But it’s never too late to learn, right? ❤️
Yes! 8 or fewer TOTAL projects, divided by me, family, and beyond (work/volunteer activities). This video is focused on the work side, so 3 max in one area is what I recommend. I should have clarified. Thanks for the question!

Is paying a monthly bill a routine
Yes! You could choose to have “bill pay” days twice a month, or you could create calendar or email reminders to pay certain bills.
Love this!
