*Professional cleaner here. Dawn & Vinegar are a FANTASTIC cleaning combo. To make this even better, do 50/50 equal parts water and vinegar, and at least 1/3 cup of Dawn* 💯
Big fan of vinegar for cleaning purposes. Smell elimination, rust removal, etc. Since I get it easily in 5L container on 12% variety. I always keep one container at home.
Actually Liquid Soap is made from Caustic Salt (Cleaning Agent), Acid Slurry (Foaming & Cleaning Acid), Common Salt (its also help to remove dirt), Glauber Salt (Cleaning Agent) and approx 15/20 ml liquid detergent is enough for 500 ml of water to make Glass Cleaner. To add Vinegar in the water while making Glass Cleaner is also good as its weak acid and its also work as cleaning agent.
I cleaned all my house windows this year, inside and out, with this solution. I did substitute name brand Dawn with Walmart Equate blue, and Walmart white vinegar. They’ve never been more clear and sparkling. I also used it to clean the window sills, also bright and clean. I’m going to use it on my deck and vinyl siding outside and trying it as a car wash.
Thank you for doing the math for me for the gallon container. I have been doing it in small batches but wanted to have a refill jug so I wouldn't have to do the small batch all the time. When I go to clean a house other than my own I like to take my own spray bottle of this product even if it is a DIY. Again thank you for doing the math.
I found another DIY muti.ourpose cleaner recipe and only thing different is to use Castille soap instead of Dawn. I use Dawn mixture to cut grease and kitchen deep clean. Dawn, water, baking soda and salt.
It definitely works. You'll see some recipes out there that use like one cup of Dawn 1 cup of vinegar and then one cup of water and it's just too much dish soap. And makes it harder to clean in the long run with all that soap.
You can use white vinegar or a cleaning vinegar. Do not use apple cider vinegar or any of those types of vinegars due to the fact they have a tendency of leaving a sticky substance behind.
Vinegar will have a very strong smell. Usually last less than 24h. After that not only the vinegar smell disappear but also take along any other nasty smells! ;-) Extremely effective on smelly appliances (dishwasher, oven...), sink, pipes, car seats, etc. Example from my fridge that had an awful smell. From food left there for more than a month, without power. That happened after a fire and the access to the apartment was barred until the police investigation was finished. The rotten smell was "you can imagine". Vinegar on a spray bottle solved it. ;-)
Not sure if anybody has ever responded to your question or if you've discovered it on your own. Do not use anything but white vinegar or cleaning vinegar? Apple cider vinegar or anything similar will leave a sticky substance behind.

@@andreaarganiosa347 It is a common dish soap

Thanks! 3 ingredients:
2 cups of water
1/4 cup of vinegar
½ teaspoon of concentrated dish soap
This works better than Windex for me, cheaper and much appreciated! I had Dawn, Vinegar & water on hand lol.
Ive used this before on my shower doors/ window and mirrors and its works so good. I'm never buying windex again

Before wathching your videio, I used 50/50 (vinegar and water but no soap). I'll try your formula recomendation - thanks.
I used 2 cups of water and 1/4 cup vinegar foe mirror and works great. I wipe down with 91% alcohol beforehand ans it gets rid of grimey layer
I loved the video...
By the gallon:
16 cups of water
4 cups of vinegar
8 teaspoons of concentrated dish soap
Thank you for doing the math for me for the gallon container.

Is it safe on tinted car windows?
Hi! Can this be used as an all purpose cleaner on other surfaces around the house? Also how long can it be used, will it go bad after a while?
Yes, it doesn't go bad.
I found another DIY muti.ourpose cleaner recipe and only thing different is to use Castille soap instead of Dawn. I use Dawn mixture to cut grease and kitchen deep clean. Dawn, water, baking soda and salt.
Can you use this on car windows?
Does it have to be white vinegar?
Very nice
Is it safe on tinted windows
good
Is it safe for jalousie windows?
I heard this prevents condensation on windows too.. Is this true?
Haven't made it yet, but I think Dawn dish detergent will help keep from fogging.
What cloth did u use?
♥️
Thank you so much, one question do I have to use Dawn or can I use any dish liquid? Thank you
