    I just want to say this..
    How are YALL mad because i decided to get MY situations handled on MY time? LMAO not to mention, I was waiting on the perfect time to film this video in particular. Y’all be wanting people to film day in the life’s, and vlog getting their shit together but then be mad when they do it wth. Y’all just so use to people producing fake content and not being themselves on and off the screen.. WELL, not over here. IM REAL, IM RAW, IM UNCUT, and most importantly IM ME. If you don’t like it i’m not begging you to be here!!! The fact I couldn’t get my oil change after I got off work threw a wrench in the process of filming this video because I have an order in how I do things. If i could go months without getting one why would i be so bothered to go a couple more days??? I was looking out for YALL so I can have time to film other videos. Lmao but if i was one of them business owners who just canceled my appointments to deal with my personal life i’d be wrong! Nevertheless, im not going let one bad apple spoil the whole bunch! Anybody is welcome to not watch my videos! My supporters i love you guys🥰💞

    •Use heat protectant spray before blow drying your hair-I recommend “chi” brand
    •Use the Mielle hair oil. I know it sounds cliche but I swear it works. Oil your scalp 2-3 a week and massage it in. You can do this with braids/locs/natural hair. If you can lift your wig up apply it like that.
    •when blow drying your own hair…I recommend the blow dryer with the comb because it cuts down on the amount of times you have to “pass through” your hair.
    •use a leave in conditioner before getting any type of protective style. Mielle is recommended
    •after taking your hair out, HIGHLY recommend hot oil treatments
    hope this helped just in case you choose to cut your hair❤️

    Also tommi Ive been natural since 2019 and wear wigs often and apply heat to my hair nomore than 4 times a year . When it’s time to get wigs and braids I don’t blow dry my hair I comb it from ends to roots and let it air dry . You can definitely gradually nurse your hair back to health and cut it as often as you want . That’s what I did .

    • @princesstommi
      @princesstommi  2 года назад +1

      Your stylist doesn’t have to re blow your hair at your appointment? I know they be wanting the hair to be like bone straight

    • @taylorgabrielleellis
      @taylorgabrielleellis 2 года назад +1

      @@princesstommi no I just make sure my hair is detangled to the best of its ability by just using a comb . because a lot of people have different textures so I explain to them that I refrain from using heat as often as possible so braids and cornrows for installs definitely can be accomplished without blow drying it straight .
      When I went natural I also just started taking better care of my hair and the transformation by going to fully relaxed hair to curls is possible without doing the big chop or starting over .
      If you want me to personally dm you pics of the process i can .

    Yea big chop is good. to prevent my hair from being damaged i use low heat or medium and dont leave it on one spot also spreading out the times you use heat and using natural hair stretching methods like plaiting your hair and wrapping bands around them it'll be just like a blow dry honestly

    There’s nothing wrong with heat. Just keep up with your trims (2-4 months) and get your hair heated by a professional. If you add heat to your hair yourself, please apply an light amount of heat protector (CHI Heat Protector in Red Bottle is very good) before blow drying and/or flat ironing your hair. Me and you have VERY similar hair types and I get complimented on the health of my hair often (not an expert but I can help you😇) Please start over, holding on to your unhealthy hair is like beating a dead horse. For wearing wigs, braid your hair neatly and small underneath make sure it’ not tight for tension and breakage reasons and make sure your hair is moisturized with a lightweight oil before the wig is applied. If a stylist tells you that your braids can’t be oiled/moisturized underneath… RUN because that’s a lie. Lastly, don’t think I’m lying when I tell you this, next week I get my hair trimmed and treated by my stylist🙏🏾.

    cutting your hair into a bob will be a good option because you’ll cut all of the dead ends & having a bob immediately makes your hair look fuller & healthier even when it’s thin

  • @giannakelis
    @giannakelis 2 года назад

    For your hair. You don’t have to cut it all off but you would be super cute with short/shaved hair. If you choose to treat it, start getting trimmed every 4-6 weeks, oiling your scalp, silk pillow cases, low tension styles/protective styles, etc. personally i would cut your hair because you keep it done anyway, you could do a big chop and keep a good braid down in for 2-3 months while constantly oiling your scalp and massaging etc. trims are important because the damage travels upward to the root. When you blow dry your hair make sure you’re using heat protectant and using cool air instead of hot helps too it just takes longer to dry. It’s just important to have a routine, my routine is once a month i go get a wash and trim sometimes a braid down or a blow dry depending on the style im getting and i do keep my protective styles in for 1+ months while my hair grows underneath

    I believe you should start all over & stay consistent with the Trims . When getting protective hairstyles make sure u to oil it , if u going to keep using heat use a heat protector . When I wear my real hair I don’t use heat at all I braid my hair up with conditioner & water at night & when I take it down it’s manageable as well .

    It depends if your hair is breaking from the ends up then cut it if not then treat it and clip the ends. The professional know what they’re doing they know what products to use when blowing drying your hair. To much heat drys out the moisture that’s why your hair is thinner. Your hair is just like your body it needs vitamins water moisture etc.
