there is this annoying bug with ryzen cpu's where it goes down to 1 ghz in speed randomly upon startup, so hopefully turning this setting off will fix it!
Not sure if you figured it out, but if you can’t get to BIOS before Windows starts up, you can go to Settings > Update & Security > Recovery > Restart Now > Troubleshoot > Advanced Options > UEFI Firmware Settings. It should restart and send you immediately to your BIOS
@@santiago1026 Unfortunately even that seems not to work. There are no UEIF Firmware settings and i dont even know how thats possible. I never would have put my hard drives in a RAID if i knew i would get this many issues out of it. Thats all i can think of that could even possibly be the reason.
I guess it will help the hdd load files properly before coming to lock screen right i mean in my laptop it starts fast and in the lock screen it lags ..... Is it possible like that 🤔

Hi, mine is set to on, the same as yours is ( 0:36 ). On startup I have no option for UEFI access or to change boot options (USB etc). Could this be due to fast boot being enabled?? I realize I could just try changing the settings but Im wary of changing things if I really dont need to.

Hey man, So my fast startup has always worked and it's something I'm not willing to compromise on because the difference is very noticeable when you disable it. However, since replacing my laptop's palmrest and back cover (which honestly shouldn't affect anything) my fast startup has prevented my laptop from shutting down (yes I know it's not supposed to be a true shutdown, just a low power mode). Any ideas? I'll go to start menu > power > shut down and my screen will shut off for like 5 seconds while all the programs close as if to shutdown however it just turns back on with the lock screen as my keyboard backlight, cpu fan, etc continue to run the whole entire time. Never does it shut off. I've even tried reinstalling Windows to no luck. Please help!
Crazy how these computer know it always think they know it all but they don’t because this doesn’t work. I know an option to fix it but I really don’t wanna have to crack the side of my case open but I guess I’m gonna have to because there’s nobody on here that knows exactly how the system works. They just think they know because they googled it too
