It’s so good to see italians discover Lara! She is so connected to your country, italian is her first native language, even before french despite being born in Belgium, as she spent her first 7 years in Sicilia in her mother family. She is married to a sicilian man and has a house in Catane where she has spent the last few months. This cover was the song that made Dimash fall in love with her artistry. And I recommend you to check her other italian songs: she wrote Adagio (both versions, english and italian) and did cover Caruso. Lucio Dalla was more than impressed by her version. She also has a beautiful duet with Laura Pausini.

Lara Fabian was very well trained by the best opera teachers from Belgium and Italy, but she decided to sing pop songs, she als has the knowledge to sing in operatic way, she studied from her 8 to 18 at the Belgium Conservatory of Music (there she learned Bel Canto, piano [she composes her own songs on piano)... Then since 1998 she kept having vocal lessons with her Italian teacher untill nowdays, she has two vocal teachers (From Belgium and Italy) and she keeps having vocal lessons at least 3 times per week on-line. Lara also workz as a vocal coach on The Voice Canada, she already worked as the vocal coach at the Star Academy program in France from 2004 /2008. Here another Italian she LOVES to sing, one of her idols is the Italian singer Mina. ❤❤ Her mother used to sing Mina's song to her.
