I hired a guy who was a former BMW Dakar factory racer to teach me open desert riding skills and it was just an incredible experience, exhausting and my skills improved SO much. Watching that guy stand up, hands free and outstretched at almost 100mph over open desert was like watching Jesus walk on water to me LOL. Amazing the vast vast skills and comfort level that comes with the skill level and experience the pros have. One of the things I learned both with bikes and also with my Jeep Wrangler is that in some conditions, faster makes things so much more stable and easier. I was stuck trying to go slow and cautious on my bike when I first started doing off road riding and realized that once I got to 40-60mph where previously I had been slogging at 25mph, I was finally riding along floating over the terrain vs fighting the bike the whole day. A bit of mind over matter and overcoming fear and replacing it with some trust and confidence in the hardware was a big milestone for me.
@@christianmillet9901 Haha yes, mistakes are amplified LOL. I was wearing full armor, flak jacket, full moto guards. When I got done after 160 miles of desert running I came off probably six or eight times at pretty good speed. The gear did it's job nicely. I got back to my hotel to clean up and I had the nastiest bruising all over where the guards did their thing. No real injuries though. I'm too old and out of shape to do that anymore but it was an amazing experience.
I am thinking how is live in a place where time flow in a different speed, a magic place like this. WOW this tour take my breath out :D I am imagining how fantastic was siting there with this guy drinking a Soda and talking about how fantastic is a rider life
Hey Kinga, This was so much fun! It is great to see you interacting with James and enjoying the ride on a light bike! Also the drone shots are stunning! Good job! Thank you so much for taking us with you to these wonderful and beautiful places. Stay safe and much love from Rwanda! 🤟🏼
27 liters / 7 gallons on the rally bike. Wow! That's a lot of fuel for that bike. Chillie was honored, eh? The drone shots were cool. James and Kinga BIG THANKS! 😎
Your hair was perfect for the day, it doesn't get much better than that, to ride with a legend and on his bike, there's nothing like having the right machine for the job...Awesome video plus I could follow on google maps real easy.
This is one of the best, if not the best of your videos yet. I am enjoying a lot seeing your videos, and everytime asking myself why I am not there, riding with you instead of being stuck in office.😍
you did look perfectly at home on the WR not sure Chili was so impressed though. Lucky man to have all them toys James I'd love a go an RR, thanks for helping out Kinga the Moto spirit is strong in Africa.
Fantastic episode! James is a class act and clearly overall great bloke. You looked good on that 450, it clearly suites you, and the resulting hairdo was simply spectacular!! Great footage and edit as well. 👍
Hey Kinga , thanks for the very enjoyable video and ride with James. You both seemed to have a lot of fun trading bikes for a short time. Do we anticipate a rally ride for you in the near future ? That would be a blast. Hope you are well, and staying safe wherever you are. Cheers, Dan. ✌️🏍🇨🇦
Great stuff Kinga-good to try something different. His single wouldn't last the distance that your Rotax engine has in your BMW. Twin means you have more pistons firing over any given period, sharing the load. More torque-more hp. But again it comes down to the power to weight ratio as to the impression you get. The other factor is that his compression ratio is probably much higher in order to squeeze as much power out of it as possible without worrying how long it last's. Did you know that the F650GS twin weighs less than all the other GS twins!
The trouble with test riding someone else's bike is that you then want one yourself. Not enough money or garage space for most of us. I am loving the African geography. 🇨🇦
Hi Kings, enjoyed this more than the previous episodes… good to see you riding again and less zoology…I follow you for the riding and the different countries, challenges and terrain. Love your bubbly nature and hope to see more riding! Stay safe! So lovely to see the hospitality James accorded you! On Ya!
If you add up all the extra weight the GS is carrying to do a round the world trip I think you'd be amazed & obviously if you took it all off it would feel a completly different bike or if you transferred that weight onto his bike then it would also feel totally different. It is what it is-you need certain gear to make the journey and that's just the way it is.
Good to see your new adventure ride kinga, loved it, I keep watching your previous adventure rides until I get to see new video from you, never get bored to watch 🌹😍
Kinga dear, welcome to the smaller adventure bike world ! Myself have a 2018 Kawasaki X300 Versys, regeared and outfitted with all my necessary goodies. Easy to work on, tires and chain & sprockets last much longer and a hell of a lot easier to pick up . Bonus is over 60 mpg. Are we there yet ? Stay safe. Always Rogue
Elephants foraging in the drone shot at the end was brilliant! And James.... gets to ride with all the best women riders, eh? Your hair looks great, btw. Like Naruto Uzumaki! Happy trails to you!
Ale daliście z Jamesem czadu. Stwierdzam po obejżeniu odcinka że ja to w ogóle jeździć nie umiem 😊... Więcej bym pewnie leżał w tym piachu niż jechał. Fajna "lekcja"... Dziękuję...Pozdrawiam brat motocyklista 👋
Ah I love it, I was at Sango Safari Camp in 2016🤗🥰 I hope you enjoy it there. I had an amazing tent there and lots of animals just in front. Enjoy your stay 😀 and the food was delicious 🤤
From 1 Episode 139 i have allseen ,alls are great, allthings you do right , Adventuregirl Kinga !!! and your hair look s"Wonderfull" all the time,...... ride save ,and i hope for you "the lion sleeps at nite !!!! LG from Germany
Fantastic video of the wildlife. A legend in the greatest rally has a Manx flag in the background, land of the worlds greatest road race. Has he been there?
I can't remember seeing a comparison between a baggage bike and a play bike. I think the 701 makes quite a fast baggage bike, but there are mechanical constraint issues.
James Alexander, meeting and riding with all the female ADV riders out there. Such a lucky guy.
James wasn't the only legend in this video. We love you, Kinga!

Agreed. The issue is when things are getting wrong and you stop floating.........

Travel meets rally....so nice to see you two motorcycle legends spend a great time together 😊👍!
Chillie was fully loaded but still going strong.
What a wonderful trip through the beautiful nature of Botswana!
James knows how to live! Having a ride with another wonderful young lady here… 🤗🙏😊

A very nice ride with a very nice fellow. ✌️
Super video...and what a nice guy James is. How cool to ride a Dakar bike. Great scenery and filming too! Cheers, Steve
27 liters / 7 gallons on the rally bike. Wow! That's a lot of fuel for that bike. Chillie was honored, eh? The drone shots were cool. James and Kinga BIG THANKS! 😎
Chillie was never ridden that hard before 😆
I must add a second comment. The drone shots of the elephants were just over the top wonderful!
Thank you ☺️

Great ride and pro footage of the elephants. 👍

Cool Kinga najladniejsze byl discofox z Jamesa ☺️
Sooo we'll see you in the next Dakar rally? Fun to ride a lighter bike now and then.
you did look perfectly at home on the WR not sure Chili was so impressed though. Lucky man to have all them toys James I'd love a go an RR, thanks for helping out Kinga the Moto spirit is strong in Africa.
I loved that WR. This bike is so much fun.
"Light & Responsive" that´s what adventure bikes should be like (anything over 125 kg is too much, imo). Thank you Kinga for another wonderfull video!
Hi Kinga, Another Awesome Adventure and Video and as always your hair was Perfect thru it all 😎
Thanks😆
Fantastic episode! James is a class act and clearly overall great bloke. You looked good on that 450, it clearly suites you, and the resulting hairdo was simply spectacular!!
Great footage and edit as well. 👍
Looking into my crystal ball I can see an enduro off road dirt bike in Kinga's future! Wonderful video as always Kinga! Thumbs up! 👍
It just shows. Leaders are born. James could ride a donkey and still win. What a natural talent and humble.
Bravo, what an adventure! Are you now hooked for smaller bikes? James is a real gentleman.
Cheers from Nürnberg/Germany, Günter
Great drone shots Kinga!! Also, your joy and happiness are equally contagious!!! Cheers
Loved this episode! You must have had so much fun. And what a place to stay at afterwards. Thanks for sharing it with us.

Great video Kinga! A good experience riding a Dakar racing bike! You got a good partner for the journey!
I'll stick to the travelling. Rallies are not for me. I have zero competitiveness in me.
@@onherbike Got it. No offence intended. 👍
Love watching your adventures, SUPERB
Hey Kinga,
This was so much fun!

Beautiful video, great bikes, fantastic scenery and a great hair day! That's all we need from Kinga to be happy, until the next video. Cheers
Bardzo dzieńkuję ! Brawo 🇵🇱🇵🇱🇵🇱
Having two bikes is great. One like Chilli for travelling and a lighter one just for fun 😎
Two legends!
Beautiful Botswana 🤗same gearing as our 500’s (15/48) - economical and a great compromise for travelling.
