It's a race, not a ride. No wonder you're nervous. Who wouldn't? Thanks very much for letting us have a glimpse behind the scenes of the Eco race. Fascinating and much beyond my limited capabilities. You went through the whole ordeal and managed a more than memorable result. Very well done, Günter/Nürnberg
💯 thank you so much for watching, super glad you enjoyed watching - there is plenty more to come, so stay tuned for the next part wooo! It only gets more and more wild

🤣 love this! You are very welcome 😜 Several more parts of the series to come so stay tuned for more ridiculous information and carnage haha. Thanks for your support and for watching, woo!
Well done Vanessa on day 1. I lost count how many times you needed a crafty crouch. If you keep up this rate of err... drainage they might be calling you "Tiddles" or "Puddles" by day 13. I wouldn't take it seriously though as it's taking the err... pee. A great fix for the 360 cam, the footage was pretty good and at least it wasn't lost. A cracking episode Vanessa and thanks for sharing. OH and while I remember, for listening to music I'd suggest not listening to Handel's Water Music as it may cause side effects.
Well Done Vanessa!! IT's been fantastic to follow along! What are you wearing underneath yoru gloves? THey look like those Pull up hand protections I saw in my Crossfit box. What is their purpose? :)
you got this...always a day or two to get into your rhythm.....I personally love sand.....keep you feet on the pegs and your right hand cranked.....Garth
I normally use my Cardo intercom but race rules mean no helmet attachments are allowed. So these as very poor quality £8 off amazon jobs. I would not recommend for sound quality or comfort but for the race it worked ok
That's a pro mechanic right there - probing the positive terminal of the battery with a screwdriver, connected to the jumper pack, on the vehicle deck of a boat, without shorting it on the frame and blowing the main fuse. Definitely the person for the job! 😎😅
I cannot stress enough how good She-Wee's are for the convenience of being able to wee on the fly!!! Awesome first day, can't wait to see what awful rally food Keri is going to try and kill you with next 😆.
Haha I've tried one but on a bike in a race having a bit of plastic covered in wee isn't ideal and you still have to pull you pants down to get the base layers off hehe
I wasn't so lucky. I was in the median preparing to turn left when a man driving with a suspended license whipped out of a liquor store to beat traffic and ran into the side of me. 7 broken ribs, bruised lung and kidney and mild brain bleed. I was wearing protective gear head to toe. Happened two weeks ago and it just sucks.
Oh no I am so sorry to hear that, sending you best wishes for a quick and full recovery, try to stay positive and keep pushing forward, dont let this dampen your spirits 💪❤️
That incident at the traffic circle was the rally gods giving you a heads up: Shit's getting real! 💪 I guess the biggest challenge was surviving the rally meals, right? 🥳 Ace video! 🤩🤗 And with that privacy issue: I guess there's a simple technical solution for that. A little pump that has a hose from the private parts to out off a leg of the trousers attached. Inertia-operated, gently shaking your leg might be enough to operate it. 🤔 I have to think! 🤨🤔²
@@TheGirlOnABike In long distance glider flying, there are mask-like things lady pilots can shove up their nickers for that purpose. There are suction systems of some kind (As I never got this far with flying, I never encountered them myself). So parts of the required drainage system should be available out here.
From what I understand pretty much everybody are running mousse in those Michelin tires, I see that you did around 380 km on the highway and I was always told that the mousse are not good for highway riding. I guess it's ok since you probably change them everyday.
Hey really, good point, yes, we are all running Michelin bib mousse. They don’t like sustained high speeds on consistent surfaces, which basically means the road. Generally it’s advised not to go over 90 km/h on those roads because that creates more heat which breaks down the mousses. So if you go over those speeds, your mousse is going to deteriorate very quickly. So we tend to just stick around 90 kmph for the road liaison
It's an after the fact race day for us. Yay Most always the wrong time and then have to peeeea. Must have been the right energy drink as it made funny faces and tastes

They're Acerbis hand protectors. So good to help p prevent sores. I recommend
Holy smokes. Before you even get started, almost done in by a traffic circle. It is nice seeing the video of the little dot I followed on the GPS.
It was definitely a wild start and not the only close call I have! Thanks so much for watching and for your support throughout the race

Definitely, getting the nerves out and the rhythm in! Thanks so much for watching, I hope you enjoyed it
Like a boss! You are my hero!❤
Aw that is lovely, thank you
what are the headphones / earplugs you are using, out of interest?

Parabéns mulher!
Thanks!
Hi you did a speech at my school
Aw yey. Hey I sure did ❤️

It's an multimeter probe and a jump pack designed for batteries, so yes definitely the right name for the job
@@TheGirlOnABike ruclips.net/video/mY8eNh_cBvI/видео.htmlsi=H4p6Os7w8lSNUoLJ&t=71 Defo a screwdriver. Genuinely great skills!

Shit man…hope you get well soon

Haha we need an invention! Many of the men wear a silicone condom with a pipe down the left but it would not work with lady parts

vanesa, whats that blue in your hand.
they are palm savers, they help stop getting blisters on your hands from the handlebars
