It's something I love. It's one of my largest passions

Characters, weapons, scenes from what I write. Make it come to life
Can I stop drawing?
No. Plain and simple. Drawing is what I love doing. It's a passion, not as much as writing stories, but a passion
Is drawing a passion?
Yes. It's a good escape from reality. While drawing, I can make whatever I so wish to draw. I can make my worlds, my characters, anything I want a reality
Should I be a full time artist?
Yes and no. I want to write books and have art in the books. So I guess in a way, that would make me a full time artist when I do publish books

Why do I draw?
It makes me happy, and gives me a way to express my creativity. I like expressing myself and creating characters.

Well, here we go... surprisingly I already had my answers and they came easily to me.
Why do I draw?
1. I love creating thing. Be it with my hands, with my mind or anything like that. I love to write stories and drawing just brings them to life.
2. It gives me a sense of satisfaction seeing the end result. Even if I'm looking to improve and may nitpick myself. It still gives me some satisfaction.
3. It calms me down. This is important to me because I easily get overwhelmed by my senses and too much socialization. So it really helps.
4. I just really like drawing. It makes me happy.
What do I want to draw?
I love drawing my characters, fanart, other people's characters and quite honestly superheroes. There's something about superheroes that I just love. I also really want to draw comic books. I like to write stories and I like to draw so combine it together and it's the perfect combo!
Can I stop drawing?
Maybe for a day or two. But, I get random art attacks as I call them. Where all of a sudden I have a sudden urge and need to start drawing and create something. Drawing is my best way of creating. I don't think I could stop drawing for very long.
Is drawing my passion?
Well, I make art for the fun of it. I have many passions to be honest. Such as writing, comic books, sci-fi, drawing etc. But drawing has always been special to me out of a lot of my passions.
Should I be a full time artist?
Quite honestly I feel like being a creator of any type (I also plan on publishing my own books and comics :3) is for me. Being my own boss is important to me. Not only that but I enjoy creating and drawing so much that I can't see myself doing any other job and actually enjoying it. So, I think so.

I draw fanart for my fav RUclipsrs, gore when I'm feeling dark/depressed,and sometimes just trying to recreate an image I find on the internet/ other places to see if I could do it/practice.

Acually, art is the biggest part of my life and I could never imagine stopping to draw xD I mean, I'm just 14, things could change but right now Art is the only thing I want to do in my life. I want to make people happy with my drawings, but most importantly, drawing makes me happy. At least most of the time xDDD Sometimes I think I'm focusing to much on improving and I'm being to hard to myself.

Don't worry, as an artist I can say you are *always* being too hard on yourself, but if you weren't you probably wouldn't improve. I'm just 15 and I started draw when I was 13 so I have miles to go still.

i too love making stories. Sometimes it takes a while to construct them but in the end it's worth it
Could I stop drawing?
No. I couldn't. Because I love what I create, and to take that away from me would be taking a part of me away. Drawing has given me confidence in myself, its helped me through tough times, and even grow as a person.
Without art, I'd probably feel like I'd be absolutely useless, cause art is most of my confidence.

What if you don’t feel like drawing is your passion but you want it to be so you keep working on it and keep improving but it’s sometimes a struggle to keep improving and you get frustrated that you’re not improving

I draw because it distracts me and lets me be as creative as I want. I want to draw the dark topics and make it somewhat cute. I can never stop drawing. Ever. Though, its almost a mix of I've always drawn because I have always /liked/ to draw.
I draw for my siblings and friends because it makes them happy, and seeing them happy makes me happy.
It satisfies me to see a finished piece that i've made and looking back on it just to smile. I have literally just sat down and stared at my favorite things that i've drawn for like 20 minutes straight.
My brothers make oc's and do the sketch of the body shape and I transfer it onto my marker paper and fix it up and color it for them. They come in just to watch me finish it off, just like watching the ball drop on new years and it makes me happy how I inspire them to get back into art (one of them decided to save up for a drawing tablet, we are both traditional artists, pen and paper and all that jazz).

I've been asking myself these exact questions all the time lately...Drawing has been a passion for me for a very long time, but lately it's just felt like a chore...Like I have to draw every day or else I'll lose my skill! And I know I don't *have* to, but I want to. Still, it has happened so many times now that I'm like "Yess time for some videogame playing! ..Wait it's 8:30 PM, my usual drawing time, man I guess I'll draw something and then I'll do the other stuff", and I also can't really see myself wanting to spend like 2+ hours on a drawing, which many artists do...I don't know what to do, do I just keep drawing until maybe the passion feeling comes back..? I do have other passions too, like videogames and dogs, but drawing, I've done it for so long, and I can't just stop now....Aagh ._.

it's not my ideal job. id like to keep it as a hobby and the ability to keep the creative process of drawing away from monetisation. while getting paid for this thing i enjoy sounds delightful. the possibility for blurring the line of intrinsic and extrinsic reward is terrifying and id hate losing this one thing that makes me happy, creative and relaxed all at the same time
I "draw" just to get things out of my head and make them more solid; my mental images aren't super clear and don't stay still, so drawing my characters or whatever lets me figure out exactly how they look. It's also something I did all through school cause I'm ADHD and couldn't just focus on boring lessons so I doodled on everything. I'm better at 3D mediums like sculpting, and also at singing! But sketching stuff before I sculpt helps with that whole 'wobbly mental images' thing.

ive been thinking about this a lot. i feel like art is my passion but since about 2 year agos ive fallen into this weird depressive state where ive lost interest in everything. it scares me because i dont know if its just these feelings that have taken my love for art away or if i've just moved on from that part in my life.
my parents and teachers ask me if art's what im passionate about and a year ago or two i could have told them yes but nothing makes me feel fufilled anymore.
Why do I draw?
It's very fun to draw things and I like the process of doing so. And when I'm done, I usually feel satisfied with the final product. And it depends on whether or not I'm enjoying the piece before finishing it. And I also would use drawing as a way to try different things and see if I like to do it or not.
What do I want to draw?
I want to draw my characters, comics, maybe backgrounds, maybe animals. And I want to also try sometimes to draw something creepy, although it takes a lot of thinking and time for me to find something that could give that sense of eerieness if you know what I mean.
Can I stop drawing?
If you mean by taking breaks, yeah. I mean, I can't always be drawing all the time 24/7, otherwise, it would interfere with the other things I would need/want to do. But, if you mean by stopping drawing altogether, then no, I can't do that. Drawing brings me a sense of pride and joy while doing so, and I don't want to stop doing it now, or ever in a long, long time.
Is drawing my passion?
Well, I like to try different things surrounding the subject of drawing, and I also feel joy and proud while doing so. So I guess I am.
Should I be a full-time artist?
If that means doing commissions and as well as drawing other things, then sure. I would be a full-time artist. But I can't do so right now since I still have school to finish as well as college in a few years. But I think becoming a freelance artist could help me in trying new things and draw more things without taking breaks that would last for a week or more. Or less. It depends on if I could come up with an interesting idea or getting inspiration from others.
I know this is really long, but I just feel like giving out more details of my answers so they can be clearer to you as well as other people.

Why do I draw? I've been drawing basically forever. I honestly enjoy it so much and I draw because I love to create and feel the satisfaction of a piece coming together. I love how my art can inspire people abd give them joy.
What do I want to draw? Characters and scenes. I love illustration and using my art to tell a story. I love drawing in realism and semi realism. It just makes me really happy to create art that looks like it was pulled out of the real world. Although I enjoy doing more exaggerated cartoon styles sometimes to express my emotions.
Could I stop drawing? Nope. I love it so much, and it's basically my only hobby. However, as long as I can be creative in some way, if I really had to stop I would maybe be ok? Idk.

Why do I draw?
It helps me cope with depression. It makes me focus on something good and positive. I overthink A LOT and it just helps to cancel it out and the reactions and praise I get make me feel alive.

Everything. From realism to anime I like both but I love making characters or drawing people's characters for them.

I go through periods where I don't draw but that's mostly due to me not knowing what to draw. After a while though my hands start to itch to draw.

1.) Why do i draw?
I draw because i have so many thoughts and ideas in my head that scream at me all the time and they make it hard for me to function as a person. It also makes me stop thinkimg constantly. So geuss it calms me to a point. And makes it so that when i can talk about my feelings i can draw them.
2.) What do i want to draw?
I want to draw something that makes people understand me. At the same time feel what i am feeling at that moment. I want my art to speak. But i dont want it to be taken too serious. To not scare people off. (I draw a lot of NSFW so i dont want ppl to think thats all i am as an artist.)
3.) Can i stop drawing?
Yes but i wouldnt be happy. I love drawing. And if i lost the ability to draw (broke my hand or arm) i would be done with life. The idea of stopping or losing my ability to draw scares me to the point of nightmares. So i hope i can draw till i kick the bucket.
4.) Is drawing my passion?
I would say yes it is. I want to make it my career. I want to show that can do this. This what I'm good at. I not only want to prove people wrong about me i want to prove myself wrong. And show myself that i am good at something and these rushing thoughts whether bad or good. They mean something and there not just there to to keep me down. But i can use them and make them become a great thing.
5.) Should i become a full time artist?
Yes. If my other answers havent said it yet. Yes i want to be a full time artist. Will it be easy? No. Can i make it happen? Yes. I want to work hard and be the artist i strive to be. Its hard now because i can find my place in the artist community but doesn't mean i wont.

Do you have tips on doing speedpaints? I recently started doing them and I feel so lost. I dont want to talk in them, but I feel like it'll get old very fast and nobody will be interested in a while cause it's just repeating. So anything would help! (Preferably not related to voice overs. I dont even say 5 sentences in a day.) Thanks 💕
With youtube it’ll be tough to get out without a voiceover or personality to your channel, so maybe a type of animation meme or something like that would work without voices. 😊 not sure about if speedpaints ever manage to do well. You could look into other channels who do the same thing you are wanting to try!

Why do I draw?
Because It makes me happy and calms me down when I’m stressed and angry.

I really like to draw in anime/manga art style because I was inspired by so many amazing anime/manga artist, thanks to them I found out that I really enjoy drawing in those art styles. I also really like to draw Chibis for the same reason

Short answer, no I could never stop drawing forever that would be literally torture
Only when I have really bad artblock i stop drawing for a week or so but, I want to draw but I’m not motivated to at the moment.
