- I was amazed after having this sweet in Triplicane. This could be the best Dum ka roat I've ever had in my life. I enjoyed each and every bit of it. This halwa was vera level.

Good that Irfan reviewed Damkaroot Halwa.. coz most of the people in Chennai doesnt know that it exists... ppl who were their in the neighborhood like me will know... I know this place from my childhood and they make it in the same taste for last 80yrs without compromise... it also has lot of nutritious value especially for girls..

baklava is different.. dum ka roat is different.. baklava as u told is arabic sweet but its sweet pastry kind.dum ka roat is a hyderabadi special.. and its authentic in hyd.. @irfan bro kandippa hyderabad vaanga.. actual dum ka roat kedaikura bakery ku kotitu poyidalam :)
Yup. Baklava is totally different. Made with phylo dough, sugar liquid and walnut based sweet , which you can eat one or two piece and it's Persian origin . But Dumroot is Indian origin taste faar better than Baklava.
