Loving my Levers - Unfreezing Bucket Lever Controls - 1959 Case Tractor 300

- The hydraulic hand control levers on this thing were frozen. FROZEN I SAY! In order to move the tractor at all I need to unfreeze these levers so the bucket will go up and down. I will also slap some grease zerks into the handles for good measure. In the end they were still a bit stiff. Much better, but the forward linkage will need attending to at some point. Nothing but problems? =-D

Love seeing you around here David! It’s a good little tractor runs very well. She just needs some TLC and to be awakened up from her slumber and exercise occasionally. Maybe I should follow some of that advice🤣
Bit low on hydraulic fluid (pretty sure the main cylinders are single acting)... the bucket definitely double acting or pressure in and out. Not sure what the name is... but wash and a splash of paint. Runs really nice
Yes I believe its low on fluid after I was done. All the hoses need swapped out anyways. Major cracks and plenty of weeping. As well as a huge laundry list of other things haha!

Yes, a power wash would do wonders even though it is out in the field. Are you planning on actual tractoring-type work or are you fixing up to sell? Apologies if you've answered this in a previous video. 😇
It’s all good Robert. I would LOVE to do farming videos someday. Tractor is being fixed up for myself in case I do farming content one day. I do have a potato planter and harvester pull behind that might be up for resurrecting one day😏
