If you can dance which clearly they can it's int that hard to improvise and take leads from eachother. You guys will think anything is amazing. Not all dance partners in the original dancehalls knew what the other was going to do and there were some set moves but not all it was partially falling the lead and partially following signals if you watch one leads and the other just follows really quickly. We genuinely have a generation of people with zero skills these days. You can't wait for AI to know when you want your ass wiped.

Once you know the basic rules of the dance and how to lead and follow, it's not that hard, though it still takes a while to get to this level. I'm not minimizing the skill of these dancers. They've clearly worked on their skills for a long time, but you'd be surprised at how much you can pick up with some lessons and practice!
Seeing as a serious musician can practice enough that their instrument becomes an extention of themselves, and are comfortable just feeling the vibe and improvising, it only makes sense that a serious dancer could be as in tune with their own body

Any person that has ever danced, knows this song. It is completely iconic. You may have never practiced a choreography for it, but you certainly have seen MJ 's greatest moves.
Right, from the just watching, you can tell that they're seasoned dancers, with both of them having some knowledge of basic and flourishing moves to make the dance more interesting. Better yet, watch the man. He's leading her, as he should and she's supporting him with her knowledge. Best part, is that though the male dominant here, he doesn't keep the lead to himself and allows her to take lead as well, all the while he's maintaining the integral structure of the dance. The way they look at each other, and feeling for each others shift in weight and movement reminds me of actual fights, where if you're close enough to your opponent, you can feel their shift in weight to better find weaknesses in defense or attack. Even the looks you give to your partner is a good tell as to how to lead your footwork and where the next move could come from. Great performance by both! ❤
