You should revise the acronym you use, instead of G for "get specific" why not use S for "specific" then you get SUPP and the S is easier to connect with your point

This couldn’t have come at a better time for me! I’m a super new DM and decided to run a murder mystery for the first adventure like the overachiever I am… ran session 1 today, and immediately could tell what I struggled with most was the NPCs. It was fine for while the players were getting acquainted, but if I want the investigation to be at all engaging, I definitely need to step up for such a roleplay-heavy scenario. I love simple step-by-steps - I’ll definitely be using GUPP before next session, thank you!!
Yeah that's definitely a very roleplaying focused scenario, but more power to you for going for it! You're very welcome, I'm really glad you'll be able to put the system to use right away. GUPP can definitely get you headed in the right direction, but like with everything you'll also just get better with practice and experience. As a newer DM, what would you say that you're struggling with the most? (Or better, is there anything that you'd like to see a video about?)
@@thealpinedm First of all, I used the pdf and i've made a couple of characters for my campaign, so thank you! But, personally, I have struggled with making some of the smaller, less important quests, for simply leveling up the players. Because, for my campaign there are four main villains who work together in an Oligarchy, where each one would have their own arc, but I know I can't immediately through a crazy strong boss at them. So, in short, I would like to see how to make "side quests" or something of the sort, where my player characters can level up.

While I Applaude the tips, I would not necessarily suggest all of this, it easily gets into extra work (Unless you are a friend of mine who made an adventure centered around maybe 5 NPCs)
Yep, the beauty of this system is that you can expand or contract it to fit your needs and time schedule!
