- On this hazy Autumn afternoon we pick up this Glasgow Central to London Euston service at Birmingham New Street, calling at Birmingham International, Coventry and Rugby before running non-stop to London. Engineering works in the Camden area mean there are possible delays inbound to Euston. A busy afternoon on the WCML beckons!

Sceanrio | This is a great one that I've modded somewhat. The player train has been changed to the livery mentioned above, the weather changed to take advantage of the AP Weather Pack, and all AI Pendolinos changed to the original, and much more FPS friendly, S9BL version. I'm sorry to say I've no idea who it is by - I have my suspicions given the great variety of AI but I can't be certain.
I used to watch videos on TS a lot. I just remembered how much I used to watch them and yesterday I searched up "Train Simulator 2020". Unfortunately, I don't have a PC so I play Train Sim World on Xbox.

Hi Superjet. The route itself is free but requires assets from a number of payware routes as detailed below. If you don’t have any of them then wait for the next Steam sale and go to town!! 😁
The author has just updated the route to v5.3 which has reduced the number of requirements.

couple questions pal, with the WCML to use AP weather can we just enable it and then use it without modifying files? I only have the virgin 390 and uses a lot scripts I assume thats why low fps, what do you mean by changed to original? do I need to get the old class 390? and also your graphics look amazing, any tips or any shader presets used?
Morning. You're absolutely right, the EP Weather AP automatically installs to WCMLN and WCMLOS. To use one of the specific weather patterns associated with the pack you'll need to enable it in the editor (which is VERY simple) but as it says in the manual "If using a weather pattern not included in this pack, the ckouds shown will still be the new ones from this pack, but which ones show will be dependent on the settings within that weather pattern"
As for the 390 the new DTG one is great except, as you say, it absolutely murders framerates. I wasn't clear enough (apologies) but I did mean this version (store.steampowered.com/app/208343/Train_Simulator_Class_390_EMU_AddOn/) with the Horgy reskin from near the bottom of this list (www.dpsimulation.org.uk/miscreskins.html). I switch all the 390's except the player one to that older model and it makes a huge difference to FPS.
Finally, I'm going to make a new video with settings, shaders etc and i'll get it up asap (it’s now uploaded, as soon as it’s processed I’ll make it public). Hope that helps! Cheers.

where can I get this train? Is it the one on the steam store?
Hi Ben. There were two Pendalino’s on the Steam store, the original which was really only any good as AI, and the DTG one released a couple of years back. That was withdrawn from sale when Virgin pulled their branding rights and sadly can no longer be bought. They have updated it, however, and you can now get hold of the Avanti West Coast version as part of the new West Coast Mainline South route. It won’t have Virgin branding though. Hope that helps.
@@JetWash944 Thanks so much for your help, I just got TSW 2 and I absolutely love it. I've owned train simulator since 2014 but I was disappointed with TSW as it didn't have a route like this or the Class 390. I'm thinking of getting TS 2021 now.
I think TS2021 deluxe version is currently on sale on the DTG store which includes WCML South and the Avanti West Coast 390.
@@JetWash944 Well I just got TS2021 Deluxe for £21!! Amazing value since on steam everything included in the pack is worth £120 individually. It was on DTG's store. They have their sale on at the moment.
Excellent. Let me know what you think of WCMLS. I’ve got all the DLC apart from that route, so would be interested to know what state it’s in.
Can I please just check, which train simulator is this on or is it a mod for one?
TS2022 as it is now. The route has been superseded by DTG’s WCMLS. Other details are in the description I think.

Tough one. I have a soft spot for this route as I think given it is a labour of love for a community member, I think he has done a fantastic job. It is very detailed and, given it doesn't really use custom assets, pretty damn accurate. That aside, going by what I've seen on RUclips the DTG release looks awful and I refuse to pay for it whilst it's in that state. It's clearly not finished and the FPS is woeful. Given the quality of the latter DTG UK route releases this is a monumental disappointment. We'll wait and see if they update it, but I'm not holding my breath.
Train Sim Cab Rides - 4K 60fps they have announced that they will patch their version. I’m two dlc’s from having the minimum requirements for v5.3 of the wcml south. I’ll probably get it anyway as I want the bakerloo line
I have train sim 19 and for some reason when i load up for example my hst route it says it failed to load all the time have you got any solutions good vid by the way
I’m not sure. Have you tried Verifying the Files in Steam? That’s not an error I’ve heard of before.
