say what you will about season 2 of LOK, but there is not one singilar moment in either series that invokes a greater feeling of "oh shit" than this one.
Stuntman Pat. OTC I agree 100% Out of every season and series of Avatar, THIS moment was by far the most anxiety inducing, and most bone-chilling......You could just feel how fucked the situation was....
korra had the strongest foes in her lifetime its true that aang almost died against azula but korra had her bending stolen stripped of her past lives and poisioned for technically 3 yrs
@@mohammedhussain6749 She had +10 years of bender training, except for Air, but she also had zero spiritual understanding or experience. Also, what do you mean Aang didn't have the avatar state? In the 1st 3 episodes we see him use it several times and it's the only thing that saved his life for 100 years. He was getting pushed around before the Avatar state came back so he could defeat Ozai. Aang got tons of help from Roku and other past avatars while Korra only talked to them like 3 times, at least on screen, before losing the chain at the end of season 2. Lastly, the experience difference between the two has nothing to do with the strength of their opponents. Season 1 Zuko, Azula and Ozai just don't seem as threatening as Amon, Vaatu, Zaheer and his gang or Kuvira.

So I have this weird theory about HC and why I think the portals need to be open. For the event to happen all the planets in the Avatar's solar system must align perfectly. When this happens the spirit portals on every planet interlink and the spiritual energy is able to pass harmlessly from world to world. But if a portal is closed than their is no way to funnel the energy and it breaks through the planet destroying it.
When did Korra ever have the opportunity to take Unalaq's bending away? Korra trusted him because he was the respected leader of her tribe and a close family member. Nobody knew he was evil until it was too late.
No season in all of Avatar gave as much suspense as this moment idc, no other Avatar got to face Harmonic Convergence except Wan. This is the most important Season
korra had it hard, if any other avatar was placed in this moment I bet they would've lost the cycle. I do believe korra should've spoken to her past lives like Aang did and discuss if opening the spirit portals is a good idea
@@tylerdembo5953 Korra issues are she wasn’t spiritual enough like aang was for her to talk to her past lives only a few times with aang that’s about it
It should have been the last season of the series plus they should have invested more in character development and saved the connection to her past lives. It didn't make any sense that Korra f*cking defeated all buffed Dark Avatar, but couldn't defeat Zaheer in S.3 and Kuvira/Huge Robot S.4.
I literally have no idea why people say season 2 was the worst. Yeah, LOK was kind of a mess, but THIS WAS SO COOL! And we got to find out about the first avatar!
I really have no idea why I am still here. I don't like Season 2, the only bad season by a landslide imo from both shows. Well, this is still a bone-chilling moment when we learn that heroes really messed up and failed completely, the quiet before the storm. Other than Vaatu's laugh in the end, honestly, some other guy should've voiced him, but still a very bone chilling scene. I mean, even if Season 2 was bad , it's good elements aren't massively overshadowed

That's the fault of Nickelodeon for not planning this through. But I agree this feels more like a series finale than a season finale.
