I was involved in deeper healing/sozo. It’s incredibly narcissistic and works based. Totally exhausting and unfulfilling. It teaches a twisted gospel. Thanks for exposing the roots of this. 👍🏻

In full agreement with all these comments. I took part in inner healing years ago out of ignorance simply because I believed what I was being told because it was in church. I’m so thankful God, in His perfect timing, brought me out of all of it. I’m learning to be satisfied in reading, knowing and believing His word, the Scriptures and reading and listening to others now who point to the full sufficiency of the Bible.Thank you for your ministry.

Thank you for this❤ I had some inner healing done years ago when I was involved in deliverance ministry… I’ve been clinging to that for years because it seemed to really help. I wonder if sometimes the Lord in His mercy doesn’t just work through situations where we are…

Many years ago, while attending a Charasmatic church, when inner healing was popular there, our dear pastor was opposed to it and preached a sermon titled " Up Periscope " . The gist of the message was that we NEVER find freedom and peace by dredging up the past, wallowing in hurt we have experienced, constantly looking WITHIN ,instead of " looking unto ( away to) Jesus " .

This is such a great teaching on the roots of inner healing! Thank you for going thru Ms. Sanford’s books and exposing the error. Theophostic severely harmed me. It breaks my heart that SOZO is gaining popularity. I will be sharing this to help educate others on inner healing!

Agnes Sanford's books, ministry and inner healing ministry in general, saved my life- and was definitely divinely directed by the Holy Spirit. Even regular prayer can be dangerous if done with wrong motives.
God is good and inner healing is real. Thank God for His ministry.

It is interesting that people have said the same thing about Mary Baker Eddy, Phineas Parkhurst Quimby and other New Thought icons. Sanford seems to have merged her New Age theology with whatever Christianity she picked up along the way. Don't conflate the spirit behind Sanford with the Holy Spirit

I encourage you to listen to the podcast if you haven’t. Agnes Sanford is a New Age mystic. All inner healing is mystical. I used to be a major proponent of Theophostic. After 15 years of using it in every day prayer, the Lord opened my eyes and I realized I was communicating with a false Jesus. Knowing the Jesus of scripture, and not the one that was running around in my head, set me free from sin and shame.

Amen! Agnes Sanford was a mighty prayer warrior and servant of Jesus Christ. Ask Jesus and he will show you the way.

While I don't agree with Agnes's teachings, I do ask how someone should work through, heal from trauma's, abuse, addictions, healing from physical illness/ailments. We don't see people going to counselors in scripture, doctors, nutritionist, etc. Yet, we have counselors, doctors, dietitians, books, scientists, psychologists...Everyone went to Jesus to be healed, mostly physically, several delivered from demons.

Great question! I had a ton of trauma I carried into my marriage and also had bulimia. After I got married and my firstborn showed major signs of disability, I took everything to God and got serious about my faith. Long story short thru prayer, the Holy Spirit revealed I needed to heal from my late term abortion. I agreed because I was so traumatized and didn't know why. But the answer was simple. Name the baby.....call the cemetery and get his name on the aborted babies section...do a memorial...grieve with the Lord and let my heart have space to cry out over the tragedy and senseless loss of a perfect baby. I also tried seeking more healing by ppl that led inner healing prayers, and those didn't feel right. all we need is Jesus and the word

Thank you for this upload. Wish it had 100k views. I have a question: Have you read Quenching the Spirit by William DeArtegea? I asked because this volume was a defense of the Word Faith movement. The author, who is Episcopalian I think, referenced Agnes Sanford in defense of inner healing. What stood out to me were elements of New Age or New Thought in DeArtegea's book. I commented on his RUclips channel, in which I took grave issue with his conflation of Word Faith theology with traditional Pentecostalism in his book. Surprisingly, he admitted he erred in doing ao

Sincere statement and question here... i believe the Holy Spirit has ministered to me through prayer and the person praying for me has ministered to me through a word of wisdom/knowledge according to 1 Corinthians 12, as the Spirit wills.
I also know ive ministered to others through this ki d of prayer and ministry which many times leads to repentance.
I know i have not called on a false Jesus or Holy Spirit when this kind of thing has happened because im super cautious and consider myself a student of God's Word and have no interest in the hyper charasmania/New Age deception that is finding it's way into so many churches.
What are your thoughts about this?
BTW, I love your ministry and teaching. 😊
