Are you familiar with David Wood his channel is Acts17Apologetics. He started it with Nabeel Qureshi who is now deceased but at one time was on board as a speaker at RZIM. It was at the conclusion of his presentation of Seeking Allah Finding Jesus that I can recount as the moment of regeneration for me. David has been a tremendous help for me personally. That does not make me an Islam scholar by any means, but I have been able to pass along what I have learned in three different classes on Islam I taught at my former church. I have read bits and pieces of the Qur'an and the Hadith and have had a brief dialogue with a Muslim from my area here in N.C. I find that I have just scratched the surface but don't really care to spend any more time studying Islam. They are clearly of the spirit of the antichrist as set forth in 1 John 2 and 4. Yes, most prophets of God in the OT did not talk about killing themselves. But then we have two in particular: Elijah, who complained he was the only prophet of God left who wasn't a Ba'al worshipper and was going to just lay down and die because he was so depressed, "Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, while he himself went a day’s journey into the wilderness. He came to a broom bush, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. “I have had enough, Lord,” he said. “Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.”" - 1 Kings 19: 3-4 Then we also have Jonah, who after seeing Nineveh spared cried out for God to just kill him, saying it would be better off if he were dead. Jonah Ch 4:8-9 . To be clear: this isn't to say we should ignore the inconsistencies between Koran teaching and sins in Mohammad's life as a prophet, but we do need to keep in mind that some OT prophets and heroes of the faith (King David, for example), were just as suicidal and/or had sexual transgressions also.

One of fundamental differences between Mohamed and Jesus is that Mohamed took many lives whereas Jesus gave his life for us !
