I followed that process every time! The problem is for android phones, like mentioned in the video is that my controller wasn't connected to the drone. The app that automatically starts after connecting the txt cable from controller to phone was the problem. Once again, this is a fix for those having the same problems. I have tried searching all over Hudsan Zino forums and could not find anything, as well as trying to connect with people and they did not know how to fix the problem. That is why I finally connected with Hubsan for their help. Fortunately, I figured out the problem. Sorry if this doesn't apply to your situation. Thanks for the comment!!!

Hi! I was hoping that your method would fix my issue. I am not sure if the Drone itself, or the controller puts out the wifi signal for the phone to pick up, but after the upgrade, the drone went from awesome, to sucks. I really regret doing the upgrade, because it worked pretty decent prior. I am not getting a WIFI signal from the drone since doing the upgrades to the firmware. Any Ideas?
For "Android phone " how to connect the drone. Step 1: Go to the Settings on your device and go into System Step 2: Go to "About Phone" and click on "Version Number" then you will see the device is already in Developer Mode. Step 3: Go back to "System" and go to "Developer Options" Step 4: Turn on the "USB Debugging" Mode. Step5: (1)Long press the power button on the transmitter, run the X-Hubsan APP and use the adapter cable to connect the HT016B transmitter to the mobile device. For USB connection Mode, use the default "Charging Only" option. (2)Confirm to use the USB in X-Hubsan.

Drone is still flying normally, some functions cannot be performed such as panorama shooting..., it requires updating. Please tell me how to help. Thank you, sir.
You have the startup backwards and the correct startup is in the apps tutorial. Connect phone to controller. The problem isn't app starting. Once connected turn on controller. Lastly turn on drone. Like RC anything, controller first then aircraft.
Thanks for the video, but I don't think you need all these steps. I've had similar issues when connecting with my Samsung S8. What I figured out is I power up the drone and controller, then start the app manually on the phone and enter the interface, then LASTLY connect the USB cable to the phone. It establishes an immediate connection every time. No need to close and restart the app. Maybe this will work for other Android users.
hi cuttis i have android phone samsung galaxy a50 with new hubsan zhino 2 drone - can you please list steps i need to take in a row. app doesnt auto initiate on mine
Try this first, make sure you have the latest software updates. 1. Turn on Hubsan Drone 2. Turn on Remote and wait for it to stop blinking 3. Connect your remote to phone 4. If your phone auto connects to hubsan app, then close it out and ensure it is not an active app 5. open your Hubsan app 6. Follow the necessary prompts 6. This should work 7. It has worked for me every time following this method. With the new Hubsan updates, I am not having these issues anymore. I hope this helps. Nice to hear from you and hope you enjoy your hubsan, like I do mine.I do not have the Hubsan pro, but from what I hear they are very similar, except minor things. 1. You need your SD Card to capture video and pictures that you take from your zino. This shouldn't impact the flight control software download. 2. I would upgrade the software. This is not for your phone, but to upgrade the drone control. I would check other youTube videos on how to do this. There are great ones that take you step-by-step. Hi Chris. I have followed your RUclips channel when I was making my purchase of the Zino H117S. After about 3 weeks of use, the Remote Control went into a boot loop, which you have explained very clearly how to fix. However, it seems my RC is a slightly different model ... it has no pins for jumping. I also noticed that the Hubsan Website no longer has the "1.1 new" upgrade zip. So I am quite stuck in the loop, depending solely on the X-Hubsan App to operate the quad. But this has serious distance limitations ... I can't fly > 50m height or >150m length. Any help?

Too much blabla before you come to the solution. But it is no solution, my Zino Pro disconnects during flight many times because the smartphone is charged from the controller. And a smartphone has a much bigger accu than the controller.
First you need to open app manually before al the rest or drone will connect to your phone instead of the app. After opening app and connect cable then you can start up the drone and TX

Thanks for the comment! Sorry to hear how long it takes to connect. I had same issue. Did you follow what I showed you in the video? If your hubsan app autostarts without you clicking on the app. This was the issue for me. Just close out of the hubsan app, and clear it in your mobile phone history. Can't get my zino controller to connect to any of the android devices I have.
Even when I follow your tip.
Would you be able to check in the two finger pull down menu , which usb mode your android is using for the zino. Mine has 4 options.
Cheers
J'ai le même problème depuis peu mais rien n'y fait impossible de connecter
Saya mengalami hal yg sama aircraft tdk berfungsi hp ke remote tdk connect. Saya sdh berulang kali mencoba tetap gagal. Apa kah harus pakai iPhone baru bagus??
you took almost 8 freaking minutes to tell us how to fix the problem EIGHT MINUTES , next time just show us without the long SLOW explanation , THANKS
You truly are a fricking dick. Same type of an answer you gave to me on a FB post. How's you Zino flying now dickweed. LOL...LOL
hey , you are too lazy to click on your mouse!!!
Relax/and breath slowly.
(And drink less coffee and energy drinks)
Try a little gratitude!?!?
I've got a Samsung Galaxy S7 and plugging the data cable into it from the controller does nothing- no app, no change in blue LEDs, and definitely no connection that lets me control the drone. Is there a way to fix this?
There's always phone on with controller off and cable connected. Then open app then turn controller on and then turn drone on.
I'm having a nightmare connecting mine!!
Top 👏👏👏
Too much blabla before you come to the solution. But it is no solution, my Zino Pro disconnects during flight many times because the smartphone is charged from the controller. And a smartphone has a much bigger accu than the controller.
I have a hubsan drone I suffer a lot for control to connect On my drone
Amazing how saying "restart the app" can take 11 minutes..
First you need to open app manually before al the rest or drone will connect to your phone instead of the app. After opening app and connect cable then you can start up the drone and TX
Thanks
I’m having a issue with my Zino the aircraft won’t connect every time I power on the Zino it comes on but the camera doesn’t flip out any advice I tried contacting Hubsan there self through email and phone but no one never picks up and responds please help me
I'm having issues with this too. I have successfully connected a few times the zino, the controller, and the phone all toghether (LG by the way). I don't know why this workaround just doesn't work all the time. Yesterday it took me like 40 minutes just to bind everything and start flying. A pain.
Thanks for the comment! Sorry to hear how long it takes to connect. I had same issue. Did you follow what I showed you in the video? If your hubsan app autostarts without you clicking on the app. This was the issue for me. Just close out of the hubsan app, and clear it in your mobile phone history. Then click on the hubsan app. It should work. It has been working for me, since I have been doing this. Hope this helps.
@@curtissmith2797 thank you for the reply. Yes, I have tried what you show in the video. Sadly, It works only sometimes.
I have send problem
Cabo flat de vídeo com defeito
FFS, you could have fitted that info into a 2 minute video instead of droning on for ages
Any one knows the hubsan wifi password in order download the pictures from the aircraft to the cellphone? ??
I just tippet 12345678 and it worked🤷
