Thank you mate, yeah i totally agree, most people who haven't done this thing before often think it's as simple as turning a camera on and hey presto there's a RUclips video 😂 I'm glad someone knows the struggles
Thank you for taking the extra effort to share your custom work! With over 7.5k followers on Insta I think you deserve much more subs, but the algorithm apparently works here! Just takes time. But hopefully not half the eternity that I spent playing Battlefront II! So much nostalgia here. Great work on the Heavy Trooper!
Endless possibilities with 3D printing here. I think you turn those bootleg Clones into HotToys level and quality custom figures. Pieces of art as legend Lukenessmonster already said!
i started following you on instagram a month or two ago because damn, i thought your customs were like real clone armor. the details are insanely well done. keep up the great work!!
Awesome video and custom as usual ! It's really amazing to use Blu-tack to protect some areas, I had never thought of that ! It's easier to set up than Tamiya 3mm. Keep going like that !
Thanks mate yeah doing it with tape has never appealed to me, it can't get into smaller areas and blu tac can be reused like this multiple times so it makes much more sense to me 😂
I have recently downsized my BS collection to just OT era figures but damn!! That is a great looking trooper. You did an amazing work, keeping up with the 2005 Battlefront I would love to see how you make a jet trooper with the green visor!
Thanks mate, yeah they can either be pulled off or cut off depending on how much glue is originally on there, it makes priming the hand armour much easier
@@bebbart all this time I thought it was one piece lol. New door has been opened lol. Will have to try it and see if I like it. Quick question. When watering down with white to go over mistakes. How watered down are we talking ??? I have a nasty habbit that sometimes turns cakie. Getting better with it but still trying to improve.
Thank you mate, yeah Hasbro was cool back in 2005 when they released the battlefront battle packs for the 3.75 line to make all the playable classes, kinda my inspiration for this
Yeah mate I'll be making a bunch of videos for all different characters along with shorter tips and tricks videos to help customisers out. I'll for sure be doing plenty of commandos
Man he looks awesome!!!! I got a question for ya, when you use the hobby knife to scratch any extra paint away do yo I wait for the paint to dry before doing so
Great question, yes! Always wait for the paint to fully dry before attempting to remove it, doing it before it fully dries will end up moving the paint around and make it even worse
Not exactly, the pallet keeps your paint from drying out as fast but to water it down you just add a little bit of water to your paint onto the pallet. You can do this by adding a small amount of water to your brush and mixing it into the paint.
I made a Galactic marine a few weeks ago, he's posted on my Instagram. The reason why he's not in a video is that it was my very first time working with the 3d kit so it would have been very unfair to make a kind of tutorial video on something I've never made before 😂 simple painted figures are one thing but a full 3d printed kit is another level and I didn't want to confuse anyone
could you make a 442nd siege battalion clone heavy trooper in the form that the early star wars battlefront 2 2017 had when it first came out?@@bebbart
hi very good video, nice figure what is the name of the mini rope that you cut with scissors and stick on? And the fabric you are painting is kama, what is the name of the fabric?
Yup I've made one before but as it was my first time working with the kit I didn't film it as it would be unfair to make a "tutorial" style video on something I never made before 😂
Good question, it helps me personally when priming so you get even coverage over each piece, it's easier for painting as you can get behind the piece your painting and lastly it gives the figure more articulation when the pieces can be moved out of the way slightly to get the pose you want
Dude I mean cmon man it’s so beautiful! I feel like the vids really show how good these customs are! Watch those wrist rockets!
Thank you mate 🙏 gonna take me a while before I'm 100% happy with the videos but practice makes perfect "FOR THE CHANCELLOR!"
I appreciate the work that goes into filming. It's usually a pain to start and stop working to make sure the camera is just right. Nice work!
Thank you mate, yeah i totally agree, most people who haven't done this thing before often think it's as simple as turning a camera on and hey presto there's a RUclips video 😂 I'm glad someone knows the struggles
So glad you started a YT channel. I love your IG. MORE VIDEOS PLEASE! I learned so much from this video alone. Ty
Thank you mate, I appreciate the support, a lot more videos on the way 🙌

Thank you! its pretty nice to see how far you can take these bootlegs, kind of a challenge in itself :D

Heckin Good work man this was a solid watch!
Thank you mate, still learning and it'll be a long process when I'm 100% happy with these videos but I'm here to practice 😂

Outstanding work! Would love to see you do the phase I Heavy ARC Trooper.
Definitely would like to make him at some point, just need to wait until he gets commissioned
Final product looks amazing! Battlefront is the ultimate nostalgia for me as well and it's something I really wish Hasbro would dip into. Good stuff!
Thank you mate, yeah Hasbro was cool back in 2005 when they released the battlefront battle packs for the 3.75 line to make all the playable classes, kinda my inspiration for this
Great job again!
Thank you mate! 🙏
Love your work dude
Cheers mate, more stuff coming very shortly
I love this have you ever done a Gregor ? This is so awesome
I haven't made Gregor yet unfortunately but I'm hoping to make him soon. Cheers mate!
Nice, subbed looking forward to ur future videos!
Love your Content!!
Cheers mate! 🙏🙏
I have seen both of your videos and so far it only been👌👌👌👌 awesomeness are you going to make a video about the republic commando
Yeah mate I'll be making a bunch of videos for all different characters along with shorter tips and tricks videos to help customisers out. I'll for sure be doing plenty of commandos
Amazing stuff man!
Thank you! 🙏
Now that bad @ss better than anything i've seen Hasbro made!!
Cheers mate!

Great question, yes! Always wait for the paint to fully dry before attempting to remove it, doing it before it fully dries will end up moving the paint around and make it even worse
What brushes fo you use to limit brush marks
Thin fine tip brushes, whatever is cheapest on Amazon at the time, to prevent brush strokes you'll need to thin your paints down
What type of material did you use for the skirt piece?
Lens cleaning cloths
By watered down is that just you setting the paint on the pallet
Not exactly, the pallet keeps your paint from drying out as fast but to water it down you just add a little bit of water to your paint onto the pallet. You can do this by adding a small amount of water to your brush and mixing it into the paint.
Thanks for the video!
No problem mate, thanks for watching!
What kind of ribbon did you use ?
3mm grosgrain ribbon
@@bebbart thx 🙏
have you thought about doing the galactic marine?

I sure could mate, just need someone to commission one ;) @@frankwebb3497
Why repaint the whole figure white tho? So it matches the helmet?
Yup so all the whites match and also so the paint on the body applies better as its a primer
hi
very good video,
nice figure
what is the name of the mini rope that you cut with scissors and stick on?
And the fabric you are painting is kama, what is the name of the fabric?
I believe it's called 3mm grosgrain ribbon
sorry, my english is not the best thank you very much😊
@@TheVader95 no problem mate, anytime 🤝
You should make them all from the game and make more videos about it
Keep an eye out for more like this 😉
Can you do a galactic marine clone trooper too?
Yup I've made one before but as it was my first time working with the kit I didn't film it as it would be unfair to make a "tutorial" style video on something I never made before 😂
@@bebbart look forward to seeing one ! And hahaha fair enough hahaha
All clones from the OG battlefronts are on my to do list. Seeing this is and how it’s executed is just *Chefs kiss* 🤌 as always excellent work!
Thank you! Well I hope this gives you inspiration to make them.
@@bebbart I need it I have 5 left 😂
Why does everyone cut the kneepads, shoulder pads and elbow pads off?
Good question, it helps me personally when priming so you get even coverage over each piece, it's easier for painting as you can get behind the piece your painting and lastly it gives the figure more articulation when the pieces can be moved out of the way slightly to get the pose you want
@@bebbart Thanks! How do you get the legs off at the crotch area? I'm having a tough time on the disassembly.
Is this the Aliexpress clone you are using as a base?
It is indeed
woww
🤜🤛
I've only played battlefront 2 (2017) 😭
Drop everything and play the campaign! It's so simple, yet so good!
Perfeito
Thank you!
no kama¿
These are great, have you ever considered accepting paid commissions or selling them?
Just discovered you, your work is amazing man! Some of the best I’ve ever seen 🫡
Thank you mate, I appreciate the kind words and support 🙏
