I'm learning this now. I was honestly surprised about the deck used but the handling of this classic deck is really good and their idea gives this old favorite new life. Thank you for the review.
I’m 57 an Ex Dj and had lots of ‘friends’, my old man always suggested that friends ‘cost’…I’m kinda on my own nowadays, not lonely but ‘alone’ and I’m much more aware of that ‘cost’ today than I was back in my more ‘popular’ days…I’d rather be who I am now than the more popular ‘chap’ that I was…great review David…I’ve added this routine to my Wish List..!😇
I hope they credit Ben Earl on the project. Ben literally did this same effect on Fool Penn and Teller back in the day. Different method he uses but similar in effect
Thanks for the review David! How would you rate the inspectability of the deck from 1-10? Would it pass a casual inspection? A lot of times spectators (used to my type of magic) ask to check the deck..
David, there is no need to have the card signed and give it away after the trick or get another deck. All you need is to use sticker and have spectator sign on that sticker and stick it on the card. These stickers can easily be peeled off without damaging the cards. Voila!
It's kind of good that it's a classic deck because they're typically pretty cheap. I'd rather it be an easy to replace deck than a special one-off deck that I have to be careful with.
not at all = Pocket Nightmare - tutorial was too short, deck isn't inspectable, more chances to flash, you need a peek - you dont have any of those issues with single handed
@@magicorthodoxy Thank you for the clarification! The effect itself in the spectator's eyes is nearly the same as Pocket Nightmare, that was my point really. Love your reviews!

thanks for the visit
You are amazing for uploading every single day. I watch it every day with my morning coffee. ☕
Wow, thank you!
Impressive trick with 2 hands🎉
Hi David, thank you for a great review. In many ways the effect is similar to Max Maven's Pocket Nightmare. Thanks for all you do! Your friend, David
Glad it was helpful!
Hi David, Thanks for the review...
My pleasure!
Great Review. Very detailed dear David! Thanks for that
sure thing !!!
Nice, out of the box thinking.
Great review.
Thanks David 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it

His performance was amazing 👏
Thank your for this gem!
My pleasure!
thnx for the review ... it looks similar to pocket nightmare by max maven.
It does!
Thanks David. This is new to me .
😊👍
This sounds great. And I think I might have one of those decks at home. Just off to see if it comes with the right back colour now 😂
That would be cool!

casual yes - remember they can shuffle it
This is a cool trick and a wonderful review 😊👍😊👍😊
thanks !!!
hi david, what do you think about having a deck with signed cards everywhere?
will it be distracting? interesting? or suspicious?
I think it's fine

yea ....

yea, you can get one for about $7
@@magicorthodoxy Nice. Partial decks are good for a supply of dupes, cards to be torn, and for practicing mcf etc. Thanks for the review!
Same method as Max Maven’s one-handed trick?
not at all = Pocket Nightmare - tutorial was too short, deck isn't inspectable, more chances to flash, you need a peek - you dont have any of those issues with single handed
@@magicorthodoxy oh ok, PN has basically stayed in a drawer, but perhaps this is worth a look then!
Do a review on Rene Lavand magic stuff🃏
that'd be fun, but I dont own it
So, another version of Pocket Nightmare by Max Maven?
no pocket required - free selection of 52 cards - and the spectator can shuffle the deck
@@magicorthodoxy Thank you for the clarification! The effect itself in the spectator's eyes is nearly the same as Pocket Nightmare, that was my point really. Love your reviews!
I agree. Sometimes people are just a little too peopley
🤣🤣🤣
Do you have an me opinion about to whether you prefer this or Max maven's pocket nightmare. Thank you.

@@magicorthodoxy thank you
Is video downloadable?
yes
It’s a shame it requires a gimmicked deck.
Not a gimmick deck, just a single gaff card
@@magicorthodoxy the ads say gimmicked deck and when I asked ellusionist if it requires a gimmicked deck to perform all versions and they said yes
Isn't this the same effect as "Get Sharkey"?
no, the spectator can select ANY card no force, sign the card and shuffle the cards themselves - you cant do any of that with GET SHARKEY
@@magicorthodoxy
OK.. Thanks
Thanks for your review it was great
Glad it was helpful!
Don't tell anyone about the schedule upload function lol
ok
