I'M LOST ALREADY: Tokyo Rising Episode 2: The Ultimate FM24 Challenge - Игры
The roller coaster is called ‘the Thunder Dolphin’, I reckon that’s worth an extra half a point 😂
Wild that the away day shenanigans ended with jack finding the Tokyo dome of all places
Tokyo Dome is not only baseball, but also a lot of events like concerts etc. Actually NJPW, the biggest wrestling company from Japan also have their “Wrestlemania” there.
Btw love this save, as someone who lives in Japan and follow Japanese football I was really waiting for this and I’m loving every seconds!
Oh also Nankatsu is not just owned by the mangaka of Captain Tsubasa but also is the actual team where Tsubasa played at the beginning of the manga
Thanks for sharing this cool detail. :)
Was Yōichi Takahashi a player of Nankatsu or how is he related to the club? I assume that he became the owner after his manga, correct?
I was just coming to share tjat Japan's Wrestlemania happens at the Tokyo Dome. As soon as I saw it I got excited.
@@nysiy5360 the manga ended this year actually, he became president way before the end. He renamed the team Nankatsu actually
7 star away day if itd been in the Tokyo Dome.
so the situation with tokyo united is, like a lot of lower league teams, they'll play their home games at different venues depending on expected attendances and what's available, as they're the reserve team of a JFL side. the former is also true of tokyo 23 (though they're not a reserve team) and they share a lot of the same venues! you were actually in the right place first time, but the wrong pitch - it's the auxiliary sports field to the north west of the complex
also lmao knew you were at the tokyo dome immediately
yep, tokyo united are not a reserve team anymore though. they were till Tokyo Musashino or now that theyve gone back to their old name rebranded. they are gearing up for a change to allow them a J.League license
That winger with 1 dribbling needs knocks ball past opponents more than anyone ever
Jack that stadium in the away days bit is the famous Tokyo dome. Wrestling fans know it well as the home of wrestle kingdom
Damn, your rivals play near the Imperial Palace of the Emperor of Japan AND the Tokyo Dome. That's wild as hell! You go down the highway just a little and the Imperial Palace is right next door, while the Tokyo Dome is in the SAME PARK FACILITY.
So the Komazawa No1 stadium means its the stadium next to the actual stadium. think of it like at the tennis or some football academy, its one of the outside pitches that surround the main stadium.
This will come across as quite pedantic but with Kim Jin-Hyuk, Jin-Hyuk is actually his first name not his second (Koreans lay names out when writing them in reverse of how we do in the west) so if you are referring to him by his Family name (we would say last name) it would be Kim.
idk for sure but i think this rule also exists in a lot of asian countries, japan and china at least too
Sometimes they flip their name when been translated to English to avoid people calling their given name instead of their family name. That's why sometimes people write/say Ji-sung Park instead of Park Ji-sung as example.
If you include Southeast Asia as East Asia, some countries and race follow Chinese naming rule, some follow western, some have royal bloodline or tribes title/name in front of their given name, some don't have family name.
In India too most of us write the family name first and the Name 2nd it depend. For me its mostly family name- name on all of my education records and official data but yeah sometimes I write my Name first and family name 2nd on any resume. It depends
When I was 15 I sat in that park and had a half an hour conversation with an old Japanese man (I'm from Australia), absolutely huge that I'm now watching a FM youtuber look at it on Google Earth.
I love these lower league games - they bring so much chaotic energy
This is the wildest away days of this series ever seen as you are surrounded with Tokyo Dome, some Roller Coaster, and Imperial Palace when the emperor resides, and its here in Tokyo.
Tom Sawa, Tom Sawa, Tom Sawa, running centre mid. Sawa-wa-wa-wa-waaah, he's a pacey kid.
Nice. Exciting to see a good start in the league. Still looking forward to the tactics change to go more attacking, but maybe that will be a year 2 thing
this concept is so fun!!!!
The 300 million yen robbery (三億円事件, San Oku En Jiken), also known as the 300 million yen affair or incident, was a robbery that occurred on December 10, 1968 in Tokyo, Japan. A man posing as a police officer on a motorcycle stopped bank employees transferring money and stole 294 million yen.
26:51 funny you should say that, it reminds me about 300 million yen robbery that I first read in a manga called Montage. The robbery is a real one tho, it happened in Tokyo on 1986 or 1968. Google 300 million yen robbery, it's a good read.
Those guys earned themselves a rollercoaster ride
What an away day, this series is going to be something else
by the way, the new place looks sick
also I'm hyped to watch the team grow (if they do that is, lol)
Lovely first victory!
LOL Away Days are going to be a hoot. I guess you have a good reason to learn Japanese!
2 years ago, you included a KFC in the scoring, so I think you should include the amusement park
With these Away Days, end of series Jack moves to Japan :)
This is gonna be an amazing series. Forza Tokyo 23
Regarding the lighting in the match engine: I found out that when you press the mousewheel button to get to the menu and then just jump back to the match (I use the side mouse button that serves as the "back" function in FM, Windows explorer, web browsers, etc.) the lighting sometimes fixes itself.
I think that THE Tokyo Dome, where New Japan Pro Wrestling having their equivalent to WWE's Wrestlemania, or AEW's Double or Nothing, in Wreste Kingdom.
I appreciate this away day, as I one day am keen to go to Wrestle Kingdom, and now have the gardens, and Tokyo 23's rival's 'ground' to visit as well!
Went to Japan last November football is electric there going back for 5 week end of the year deffo looking out for this team
I really hope the money gets changed from GBP to Yen at some point, just to add to the madness
Day 247 of praying that another Super Mario will rise and shine in Japan (Mario is technically japanese after all) within this new awesome save and for Jack to actually sign him this time!
Would you ever considering changing the attribute boundaries for the colours to make it easier to spot good players and clear to us who’s good at the level in which attributes?
didn't think I would ever see an away day 20 minutes from my place lol
feels so weird
The theme park is called Tokyo Dome CIty and I have been there a couple of times
Let's go
That linesmen is worth the 300 pounds a week your paying him. Great signing.
Konnichiwa, and welcome to the Japanese Grand Prix
Fantastic reference.
Funny to see Nankatsu-Toho happens irl. Who would have thought.
I have been to the Tokyo Dome theme park several times. It's really cute and super cheap.
The kanto league sounds like something from Pokémon!
Your goalkeeper has a comb over worthy of any hall of fame...
The Tokyo Dome is one of the most iconic arenas in the world!
I'm interested to know what stadium pack is being used for the ground pictures on the team view.
What a name fukumoto 😂
For away days anything within a 20min walk should be fair game to include as part of the score
The most important part of low level managing is finding out where you play
Kim “Lee Min” Jin-Hyuk
LETS ALL GO
TO TOKYO
feeling pretty sore to hear my chosen tactic this year in FM is being utilised by our rivals in this save. makes me feel unclean.
Jack why have you drawn something on the stand in the background?
Best away day ever
Matsumoto is a baller
The Komazawa Olympic Park No.1 Stadium is almost as bad a name as The Murphy Part-Time N'Goma Sports Complex.
Almost 😅
Jack you ever done a MLS save, I’ve signed a player and it won’t let me register him and I don’t know why?
Um what about the car park?
Will this be almost a build a nation save, considering the strict foreign player restrictions in Japanese football?
Where can I find those Japanese lower league kits you are using?
Greatest away day of all time
If there is one player I will tell you to look at is ... then goes on to name 5!
Your club profile says that you're a professional club. Is that a visual bug or is it true?
Jack...did you pronounce Seoul (Soul) as "Saul"? Tsk tsk
Algorithm Algorithm Algorithm. This league is absolutely mental and im here for it
I like Pizza.
Nothing is more important than an away day, nothing
Away days in Japan already better than England and this isn't even the big leagues
why did he say he was lost in the title ?!?!?!
Did you not watch the away day?
Why is everyone in their profile pictures looking absolutely miserable?
Probably because they have such terrible facilities at this club.
