Love a bit of tech. Errrmmmm did I miss the mention? Remember the tech advice I gave Jo before Christmas? hahahaha great to see you off and running guys.
I owe you one 😀 Her "secret" phone call's. Deleting search history, and then ending up getting me what I'd hinted about for months haha. It all added up!
A good bit of camera equipment there Mart! It’s funny how we all add other bits and pieces as we go along which we never seem to use! Hope you guys are keeping well? All the Best Sue, Brian and The Westies👍🐶🐾🐾🐾😀
We're all good thanks folks! There's a clip on USB desk lamp in that box that'll never, pardon the pun, see the light of day. I'm glad it not just me that hoards bits 'n' bobs 😀 Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the kind comment Trev! I get met with Jo's blank expression whenever I mention buying a new toy 😀 I agree, you don't have to spend an arm and a leg but I can see how some could spend a small fortune on camera gear. Cheers for watching mate 👍 Mart.
Hi mart. Glad to see someone like me who doesn't spend a lot on camera and lighting. The most expensive thing I bought was my wireless microphone. Great video mate. Paul
Thanks Paul. I'm like you, as long as I can make half decent watchable stuff, I'm not spending an arm and a leg anytime soon. Cheers for watching mate 👍 Mart
I like how everything packs away neatly in the storage box compartments Mart. I only have a phone, light and tripod. We're the same Mart, no experts in photography. Keep the videos coming. Take care. Rob
Cheers Rob. I love storage boxes and pouches, everything were I need it. I get the most out of the little gear I've got, and up to now, don't need any more kit - YET 😀
I keep saying I'm going to buy some more equipment for my vlogs, but then end up just using my phone😂. Maybe one day. Great video and interesting to see what you use👍Mark & Coral
A great photo/vlogging setup you have. I've spent many years as a keen photographer so I've amassed rather more equipment than I can carry, only got into video/vlogging about 4 yrs ago when we bought our new caravan and I only had a compact camera and a very basic camcorder, neither of which was even HD. The most important thing is to have fun the gear you use isn't important. Best wishes stay safe Jon and Karen
Thanks for the kinds comments Jon. You've hit the nail on the head mate, have fun with it. Along the way, I'm sure we'll pick up some more bits and bobs but for now, the stuff we have is fun to use 😀 Thanks for watching 👍
Good to see what gear other people use. I looked at the Osmo, nice camera. I did the first year or so with just my phone but the battery started failing. Not buying anything for I while...I’ve been told! Cheers
Cheers Martin. The battery on my phone doesn't last too long either fliming either. The Osmos' great and really easy to use. Apparently, tiling the kitchen comes before my next gadget on a whim. Typical Jo 😀
Totally agree Dave. By the the time I've faffed around rooting through a box whatever I was going to snap has gone! Phones' in my back pocket, job done. All the best mate.
That was an interesting insight into the equipment you use. I know you say no frills, but you look to have quite a substantial set up there (well, compared to a newbie like me 😃). Nice one 👍
Thanks folks! Yep, that's the little thing, Jo's favourite! The zoom is immense on it for its age but as you can imagine, at that distance a steady hand it a must. Not after a strong coffee 😀

Some great kit there mate
Cheers mate. Didn't cost a lot but picked up bits along the way 👍

Nice one Mart 👍
Cheers Col. Cheap and cheerful! Thanks for watching.
It’s great to have a low cost hobby. Some spend thousands on camera equipment. Nice editing on this video 👍🏻 Trev

Thanks folks 😀 I use the easy option most of the time too! The one thats in your pocket all the time. Cheers for watching 👍

Was a little worried when you said you were getting your nik naks out. The best camera in the world is the one you have. Take care and stay well.

Cheers Sue. Bits 'n' bobs that we've picked up along the way, £7.99 eBay stuff that gets a "that'll come in handy" thing to justify buying it 😀
@@ItchyFeetcaravanners I know just what you mean 😆
That optical zoom is great - looked like a madagaskar lemur …. That’s a long way away. Nice video, sillyness aside.

Bloody Hell Madagascar that’s miles away 😂😂😂
@@colinrimmer789 You should have seen me keeping the camera steady! 😂
Like lots of the guys have already commented, discussing my 'tech' would be a very short video.
My phone.
Head is suitably hung in shame.....
Thats the best one to have and what we use more often than not! Its the one thats always with you for those impromtu things 😀👍
