I don't see Galade ex in there, been running it to great success against multiple S and A tier decks and whipping the floor with them, playin 2 galade lines, 2 lucario lines and 1 hitmonlee, very fast damage, very consistent, low energy cost, counters really well all these high energy cost meta decks and its bulky hp at 170 means you can only get one shot by charizard
Cyrus and giant cape are huge problems for Mewtwo. You can no longer reliably take a hit on a mewtwo and then sacrifice something else to a gust because of cyrus, and not being able to consistently one shot things for 150 that Mewtwo could before because of cape, is very bad. Unfortunately, I do think Mewtwo is actually power crept out of the format regardless of whether dark pokemon are doing well or not.
Not power crept at all. None of the cards released have a huge leap in power level, the introduction of said cards just changed the format so that it does not favor Mewtwo anymore. Stop throwing power creep without knowing what it means.
I know exactly what it means, and the point still stands. Regardless of the term you want to use, with the current pool of cards, Mewtwo will never see a large amount of success again. Will that change with new cards? Possibly, but I guarantee you Mewtwo will never be the bdif again in this current card pool.
@@kylemadison1296 power creep means releasing cards that are objectively better that make the previous ones effectively obsolete. Personally I think they really screwed the meta with this set tbh. They added WAY too many strong cards at once that all compliment stall tactics. Drudd was already popular now he has Helm, with Darkrai you can deal up to 60 damage in a turn by placing 1 energy. The worst part is you cant even really counter this playstyle by NOT attacking the Drudd since doing either benefits the opposing player. If you attack Drudd you take 40 to 60 damage with helmet, if you dont attack Drudd they build their bench in your face from the safety of their bench. You're forced into a lose lose situation. Right now the only viable way to counter Darkrai Drudd players is with bench hitters like Lee, Greninja, Palkia, etc. The passive 40 - 60 damage per turn for doing nothing is just too strong. Its not something that will be easy to power creep. They could add better sustain decks and better control decks but thats really it outside of making cards tankier at a base hp value which probably wont happen until Megas which is gen 6. I was actually working on a Luxray deck since it seems to have crazy potential to destroy darkrai decks with the 120 damage to 1 opponents pokemon, but sadly its just too slow in the current electric decks to feel good if im being honest. If electric does get better rampers then honestly Luxray might end up being the strongest counter to Darkrai since he can hit a BENCHED Darkrai for 120 damage with no need for Cyrus. And whats really cancerous is the fact gen 2 and 3 are likely next set wise and youll never guess which extremely popular Eveelution is in gen 2. So we could end up also having to deal with Umbreon Darkrai decks here soon, and given Umbreon's immense popularity I wouldnt be surprised if it gets a full blown EX.
Bro love the channel, RUN a 2 Mew 2 MsMagius 2 Cyrus and 2 Expeditioner 1 Gio 1 Sabrina 2 pokeball 2 professor 2 giant cape 1 Dawn 1 x speed Winning 9/10 with this guaranteed S tier or Top of A if your willing to try it and post the genius of this deck👍🏼
Mewtwo players have to adapt, the dumbed down Omnitank hit for 150 playstyle is gone, Mewtwo hits for 50 will you power it up and then for 150, NOTHING survives that in the meta without serious healing/support. Pokemon comm + Slab also benefits getting that Gardevoir ASAP. Of course it should auto-lose to Aggro Weavile so adaptation is needed.
Was running palkia and vaporion until i saw what people was doing with dragonite and magnamite so i swapped the drgonite with a zapdos and mew ex now im destroying the meta ya its a flip but beggers cant be choosers

@ I mean every video is called best deck or meta decks. I bet that’s the name of most of your videos. As far as the new cards, we knew the cards before they came out so people already had decks made before they dropped. it’s not a big deal it’s cool for us but it’s just a lot. Every day a new meta is created apparently.
On a second thought it is pretty awkward because it does 130 dmg vs 3 energy cards (magnezone and darkrai) and magnezone has 2 energy after attack (110 dmg) which would require both helmet and gio for one shot. Should still clobber high energy decks though (gyarados/charizard) if you're able to evolve it relatively quick. Havn't tried it myself yet since i only have one. :(

Bro love the channel, RUN a 2 Mew 2 MsMagius 2 Cyrus and 2 Expeditioner
1 Gio 1 Sabrina 2 pokeball 2 professor
2 giant cape 1 Dawn 1 x speed
Winning 9/10 with this guaranteed S tier or Top of A if your willing to try it and post the genius of this deck👍🏼
i’m sorry but the gyarados deck is actually horrendous
People who don't have it can use Pokemon meta
Skarmory and yanmega is great unless you play an electric deck
That darkrai grenninja deck I play a rocky helmet
Did no one play Volker
naa
Mewtwo is DEAD. Darkrai decks take over 80% wr against him in addition to Cape killing his breakpoints.
Especially in the last 2 days, it felt like 90 % of the enemies played some variant of darkrai. This is kind of annoying.
Goodbye celebi, you won’t be missed.
It’ll be back lol
Luxray is S tier
What about my Gallade 😭
Hope it sees more play soon :D
Dude weezing darkrai is definitely A tier, faster to play then most decks.
Quite mid ranking tbh
Any lickilicky ex decks?
None really standing out on week 1. We will have to see moving forward.
I've seen them used here and there with Dialga for the pump, but definitely not common. I don't know if people just don't have the card or what.
@@Levyathyn I am using it with dialga and a single skarmory and I'm getting good wins against S tier decks
Also one single Mew Ex which saved me more times than I could count
Not a single Garchomp deck maaan hurts my heart lol. Pretty sure there was only one person rocking it at ursiiday too. I need some representation! lol
I thought it was great!!! But it didnt see any play this weekend lol
@@PocketMads Truly tragic. It'll have its day lol.
Was running palkia and vaporion until i saw what people was doing with dragonite and magnamite so i swapped the drgonite with a zapdos and mew ex now im destroying the meta ya its a flip but beggers cant be choosers
Togekiss and mismagius ?
Not played competitively at least this week (/
At what point do we realize that there is not much content for these guys and all they can make are meta decks videos lol I new ones everyday. We need more content for this game
I mean the game just had a big update - I think theres a ton of things to talk about :D
Is Gallade just in nothing??
nothing yet!
Where is gallade
No success yet!
where is gengarr
who knows
Gallade?
Hasn’t seen competitive play yet (:
On a second thought it is pretty awkward because it does 130 dmg vs 3 energy cards (magnezone and darkrai) and magnezone has 2 energy after attack (110 dmg) which would require both helmet and gio for one shot. Should still clobber high energy decks though (gyarados/charizard) if you're able to evolve it relatively quick. Havn't tried it myself yet since i only have one. :(
Love your content bro, but you gotta stop saying basically so much.
And consistently.
I’ll try my best 😅
you talk too fast
Second
Where’s lucario rampardos? Think its worth a mention at least
It’s in A tier (:
Dude just watch the video
0000 knowledge
