I love Vikings because of there bow shape and there weight. That coupled with there very powerful diesel engines. And they can pretty much handle just about anything the ocean throws at them. I've seen them at Haulover just plowing through heavy surf like butter. Where other boats of similar size would have taken on water or had to really slow down to get through. But then again if the ocean wants you it will have you regardless of the size of your boat. You can never underestimate the power of water.
