Well that was a real treat. I worked at the New Gretna plant in 75. I was there when the water tower was installed. Our welders welded the halves together. The place really grew.. good for them. Their boats are the best

When I was younger I used to go down there to swim and boat. The place we would swim was right acriss from Viking. It was so cool to see the new vessels in the water.

If you had to cover a long distance in a viking and there wasent a fuel stop in between, could you displacement cruise to cover the distance.

1x 35 open fishermen, with no luxury stuff please. Just as basic as possible. Not even a gen set, no ice maker. Just fishing and nav electronics. No tower. Only wood in the cockpit. Ahh and one set of throthles in the cockpit. 22 to 24 kts cruise is fine.
And will you take an I owe you note as a guarrantee for payment?
Or I'll take you fishing when you come over. I am almost sure I can arrang some decent accomodation.

The fact that they still core with balsa is a joke. Multi million dollar boats built with crap material that almost no one else uses is unacceptable.

@jonbutton3259 it's called a different opinion, and I did. So tell Mr. Genius why there aren't any other builders who still core with balsa?
