Sorry for delay, we have the mini 2. The new mini 2, can't remember the name, has anti collision software which is a useful add on

      Afternoon Andy / Gill,
Nice to meet you in Go Outdoors this afternoon. Don’t know how it happened but I just went in to buy some shorts but managed to spend £150 on walking shoes and sandals.
But following on from our conversation here are some places we found on our last trip to Croatia, which we took North Sea Ferries and travelled down Germany, Austria, Slovenia so very much similar to your planned trip.
      Koblenz
We stayed on a Stellaplatz, Rheinufer in Braubach. Right on side of the Rhine and a train station just behind to take you into the city. Nice stop but there is the train line.
      Romantic road.
      Wohnmobils stellaplatz P2 in Dinkelsbuhl
      Nordlingen Stellaplatz
      Rothenburg Stellaplatz
Or just north of Munich we found a gem of a place in Berching, another Stellaplatz. On side of Main Cannal and beautiful old walled town, gorgeous.
If heading to Munich we have stayed at Allianz Arena, on edge of city & caught the train in, or we stayed at Parking Olympiapark Stellaplatz. This is on the Olympic park, easy walk to city centre but also 10 minute walk from BMW factory which we found fantastic. Their museum was brilliant plus you can get a factory tour for next to nothing, brilliant day out.
Heading towards Austria but still in bavaria we stopped at Bergen P an Seilbahn
Stellaplatz. This is the base for a cable car, which we took up the mountain to the first station and walked down. Even for old gits like us it wasn’t too bad and a lovely walk.
Loved Salzburg where we stopped at Reisemobil private Stellaplatz. There is a bus route right outside the site to take you into town. Loved Salzburg and sooo clean.
Heading down Austria we stayed at an ACSI site, Terrassenca camping in Malta. It’s called the valley of waterfalls and we took a ride up to the Kolnbrein dam. This is where they did the James Bond shot when he jumped off with a parachute. Fantastic bit of engineering.
In Slovenia we hit the Dolby Most P&R. Then caught a bus into Ljubljana. V nice city.
Then one of the best sites we have ever been on was Camping Papafigo, and ACSI site. Absolutely stunning with a pool etc and restaurant. We have a scooter to get about on but there were people there push biking into Pula or Rovinj. Or walk in the nearest village of Vodnjan and catch a bus. Absolutely gorgeous site.
I won’t bore you anymore, but these were some spots we have found over the last couple of years which we thought are gorgeous. There are soooo many of them in Europe. Hope you have a good trip and everything goes to plan. We are heading to Brittany in 2 weeks time, never been there before. We might see you in Spain/ Portugal in the winter. Or in our grand tour of Go Outdoors.
Keep the videos coming, very informative and enjoyable.
