empyrean maul is underrated as hell,even if ur using a tank build the maul can still do damage and ur probably gonna have blood chalice or rally aced for healing instead of a heavy attack that usually gets cancelled

it really depends on the type of enemies you're facing, but i also agree that empyrean maul is better since the endlag from the haunted scythe with the crescent thing or whatever is really annoying for parrying, and you the heavy just takes way too long. plus it doesn't even do that much damage to single target. but of course, haunted scythe is preferably better for crowds imo.
almost everyone is literally praising the scythe with the ritual crescent lmao its not that good the heavy gets cancelled really easily and the endlag is annoying to parry for the maul everything good with it is the heavy, its got the epic animation, some dash and it cant be cancelled if you are fighting a hit n' run kind of boss (like patris, N ot probably midway son) the maul is the go-to option here
the maul has a special ability that no other weapon has, and it is its heavy attack. since it like, bursts you, you can go through the wall of the sky battlegrounds to help people. (its prob going to be patched soon so yeah, enjoy helping people reach wave 50 in sky battlegrounds)
I still prefer the scythe because the healing paired with a tank build makes it good overall if you keep getting hit and can’t parry scythe is better option
Little thing I noticed, you seem to have recorded the entire voice over in one take. I think it’d be better to record the voiceover in chunks to avoid the stuttering
I was thinking of doing that on a video im starting to work on. I also recorded the audio for this video at like 12-1 AM so I was hella tired and stuttering a lot.
Honestly, I’ll say the empyrean maul is better, but the scythe can be extremely useful as a lifesteal weapon, get ritual crescent and combine it with blood gem plus patchwork AND rally aced, you could pretty much never die, but personally I like scythe because the crescent heavy is quite cool indeed.
FINALLY someone who uses a brain and knows empyrean maul is better. Only reason haunted scythe is kinda good is the heavy which heals u but the healing sucks.
Huge ass favoritism for the funny crit, do not undervalue 50% healing, its absolutedly great and the damage itself is decent, and overall the scythe's crit is really good, single target damage isnt THAT good but at its worst is just any melee crit and at its best you have the best tank build weapon.
Empyrean maul got nerfed, and and isn't really good at killing anymore but it is average now in DPS, still it's good at defeating bosses but not like it used to
if ur talking about heavy. the heavy can easily be stopped by a third attack, knockback and stuff. but empyrean maul crit builds can do 300 crit dmg on a heavy so its equal i guess

haunted scythe heals more still and plus if your heavy is getting cancelled then that means you’re not attacking at the right time
I had to kill 72 empyrean knights for it. (It sucked and I got so angry)

The heavy from empyrean maul is useful for crowds too. The heavy for haunted scythe sucks for crowds unless u use ritual crescent.

Haunted sythe is really really easy to get i got it early-mid game the only hard part was the chaos essence (on mobile)

Cresc is only good if you’re good at parrying, normal is good when you’d like to deal decent dmg, but good heals (imo)
