10 minutes and 55 seconds of goodness.
No bullshit, no non-sense, just straight to the point, I love it.
Thank you
Thanks and you're welcome :)
@@PBKreviews great video bro, you should partner with Hugh Jeffries and I fix it, they’re really good when it comes to tear downs.
Thanks! They each have their own thing and doubt they would want any partnerships but I wouldn't be opposed to every doing a collaboration with them.
This video is BS though. Would you really want to receive your phone back after all this had happened to it? I mean, I used to repair iPhones back in the day, but, come on. Just get a new phone.
@@nyccollinwhat?
Repairability score 7/10. This Teardown Video Review 10/10. Amazingly well done, in focus, no bs, everything covered. Bonus points for quality voice and not having grungy hands or nail bitten fingers too. Props.
Thanks!
repairability is more like a score of 5/10 since you can’t just change the battery an expect it to work you have to reprogram everything and that goes for the screen as well
7/10?? Man everthing in this phone is software locked, you cant replace anything without special soldering skills and/ or programming tools.
nail bitten score🤣🤣
lol the last few bits, couldn't agree more!
Props for mentioning the repairability score and the challenges associated with replacing parts in Apple devices
👍 thanks

I swear to god this teardown video was more entertaining than the whole introduction of the new iPhone 15s and pros from Apple.
These are the videos on RUclips that makes the prices a lil easier to swallow after seeing the engineering/components under those glass panels, that is what make these iPhones such QUALITY AND AMAZING PRODUCTS. 👏👏👏
Thanks for giving us what we needed a vid straight to the point
Thank you and you're welcome
I love how you reassembled the phone and it works! That was an amazing tear down.
Thanks! :)
I like that you don’t show the unscrewing process, it saves a lot of time, thanks for such an attention to details! Super quality video!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
New sub! Straight to the point, thank you and well done!
Thanks!
Great breakdown and instructional video... Thank you for this contribution! Forgot to say, this teardown earned you a new subscriber... Keep up the great work.
Thank you and you're welcome :)
Subscribed! No unwanted drama and theatrics. 🎉
Thanks!
Dude you got some great numbers on your teardown. Well done 👏
Good thumbnail 👌
Thanks! Not as well as some of your videos haha. A few of your's blew up.
what a flex to put that all back together and start it up, 10/10👏
Loved this video. Tremendous content, production and presentation.
I'm impressed how much easier it is to remove the back glass. My sister has an iPhone 11 with cracked back glass and the quote from Apple for the cost of repair and replacement was $275.
It got even worse in recent years. The iPhone 14 Pro Max costs $549 to repair. Now the 15 Pro Max costs $199. Still very high considering the relative ease of replacing the rear glass, but it's far better than what it previously cost.
Thanks. Yup its easier, but most likely software locked since the wireless charger is attached to the back glass. So complete back glass replacements probably won't be fully functional unless you're able to pry off the wireless charging coil and move it over to the replacement glass.
@@PBKreviews Great point. I'm looking at it from the average iPhone user (I'm not one)... since it's easier, I would hope that Apple would charge less that their old $275 to change the back glass? BTW, whoever asked for back glass anyway? A plastic would have been so much better.
And while we're on that subject, why do these companies insist on gluing their batteries with such difficult adhesives? LG comes to mind (I have an LG V60).
I honestly think its because they don't want you to be doing it and have to send it to them. Sometimes they will meet the bare minimum requirements just to say look we made it user replaceable but we wont make it easily replaceable etc. So you are forced to pay them or their authorized locations to repair it for you.
This man is quick wit it, has an exquisite voice and makes it simple to understand
What an amazing teardown. Neat and to the point, absolutely loved it. You earned a new subscriber 👍🙌
Thanks!
So happy there is no music or any disturbing elements. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you and you're welcome :)
That’s actually revolutionary for Apple. Thanx for video, amazing quality as well as details and description.
Keep it up man !
Thank you 👍
You sir are amazing, no bs just what I needed to see
The iPhone is really a work of art, it’s so cool seeing how every piece is engineered and how it all comes together, powerful components made into these tiny little pieces smaller than a Lego. Ear speaker, 48mp camera, image stabilized lenses, LiDAR sensor, it’s just so fucking cool. I know it’s not unique, cell phones have looked like this for a long time but something about Apple’s looks special.
Loved this video man. You are really good at what you do and I enjoy watching you.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it!
I really love your teardown videos, and the fact that you are very fast
Thanks!
you are the first and also the best for teardown video, thank you
Thanks!
Thanks for you work
You're welcome :)
That was much needed! Thanks a A LOT
👍 you're welcome
You must have the patience of a saint to carefully go through the 200 steps of disassembling this phone
Lol yeah, it's a headache that's for sure.
Premium Quality!
At this point, 254k view patience lol
lol
Thank you for details ❤
You're welcome
Wow, the interior of tech is so satisfying to see ❤
👍
What a surprise! It is magnificent!
Very helpful! Thank you😊
You're welcome 😊
Very professional thumbs up 👍
Thank you 👍
love the way ur vid doesnt have excess chatter. just the facts ma'm . love it
Can't wait to see the new camera module of the Pro Max ❤
Don't think I will be doing the pro max since I wasn't able to get it in time. So I'm sure others will have a teardown out before I get a chance to get the phone and do the video so no point in spending the money buying it :)
Fabulous work 😍🔥
Thank you :)
Great teardown video, and props to Apple to make the 15 way more accessible.
Thanks!
Awesome teardown!
Thanks!
In a vacuum, it's a huge step towards self repairability on Apple's accout. I don't think they have removed the hardware ID locks when replacing parts though
That sucks, would love to put an extended battery in the 15 pro
Yep, that's what sucks. They basically try to say look we provide the parts so they get away with it but in the end, you're still stuck to going to them for a repair.
It’s okey because it’s genuine parts! Like a car dealer ;) won’t lose the phone value of you out cheap parts
I would be happy if they had fair prices for OEM parts. but some of them are just too expensive.@@Renmen956
The HW lock can be solved with a JCID programmer, as in the end, it is a software lock. The issue is that prevents any hobbyist from doing it. Excellent video PBK.
you deserve a subscribe, right to the point. very solid!!
Thank you :)
Thank you
👍 you're welcome
Good work thank you
Thanks!
This is a very clean disassembly
👍 thanks
Do you think it’s possible to integrate an iPhone 15 pro max into an FPV drone? With additional electronics for the connecting points?
Straight to the point 💪🏾
👍
Damn youre fast! Any chance you would also be tearing down the pro max version so we could take a look at the new telephoto assembly? 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍. I wasn't able to get a pro max in time, so I'm sure others will have it done before I get a chance to do it. If i do come across one soon I'll consider doing it.
First time viewer. I am throughly impressed and realize this is well beyond my ability. I’m getting the insurance on my 15 PM tomorrow. Thank you.
Yeah, I couldn’t agree more. Hat off to all those who design, build and repair this stuff.
Thank you, and you're welcome :)
Great Work Boss 👍😊
👍 Thank you
world no.1 fast
That's one tricky repairable iPhone 😂.
Great job as always 👑.
lol yup, thanks!
Fastest man to bring video of 15 series teardown
I'm in love with iPhone's internals. It's pure engineering.
Beautiful inside and out 😍
It's because it's all 🖤 inside.
I myself prefer black PCB over any other PCB print color.
@@LenstskyYT it's not only because the blank painted board. It is because the structure and custom parts.
The Galaxy is better engineered. You can put a pen in there!
@@JohnTaylor-bd1uy I think a pen inside doesn't mean better engineered.
Os iPhones são bonitos por fora e por dentro kkkk. Muito bem construído.
The fact that you beat iFixit is hilarious! Well done brother!!
Thanks :)
Great video …enjoyed Watching it ..will you do Max model too?
Thanks! I wasn't able to get it in time to do so by the time I am able to get it and do the video I'm sure others will upload it so no point in spending the money on purchasing it.
Good job
Thanks
PBK, any way to make the thermals better? IDK, graphite pads, anything that can put inside this phone that can help?

good job

Great work! Thanks. Now to the 15 pro max to see what that Tetraprism lense is made of
Thanks! don't think I will be doing the pro max since I wasn't able to get it in time, and I'm sure others will have a video on it before I get a chance to do one so no point in spending the money on purchasing it.
Very nice sir ✌
Thanks :) 👍
Amazing video ❤❤❤
Thanks!
Fascinating!
👍
Why am I even watching this? I don't have an iPhone and don't plan on getting one, but it's like seeing a magic trick! Can't stop watching!
Because youre curious
haha :)

10 minutes 55 seconds of satisfying video
heat up on heating pad or alcohol on edge to help with releasing screen. same with battery same for back
Do comparisons between iphone with sim tray and without. And 5mm wave and without. Basically US vs Canada phone
thanks for making a good video
Thanks for watching!
Well done, this is a different lidar sensor, perhaps the imx611?
👍 thanks. not sure the exact specs on the sensor.
@7:27 . after getting through the adhesive with the back removed ,thats it but i dont see scree access there . its all from the other side . theres the 1 screw for the wireless coil bracket.. then from the front its the 2 usual awkward to remove screws [straight down ] then the usual flat screws 8:52
Great teardown video! one thing i noticed is that every iphone motherboard have so many connectors compare to samsung which only has 6 or more connectors on its motherboard compare to 11 or more connectors on the iphone.
Thank you. Yup.
❤ for the Hard working apple engineer’s
👍
I remember taking apart and fixing my girlfriend’s LG G3 and it was so easy few screws and took no time at all. They’ve really made it crazy
yup
Great video, @pbkreviews, like all of yours!!
1 question: what is the adhesive type you use to close the phone again?
Thx!
I usually try to go with the original one made for the phone itself which usually becomes available online after a month or so when the phone is released. But here is a video I did a while back, explaining a bit further. ruclips.net/video/T4iiPUIM7-Y/видео.html
@@PBKreviews thanks so much!
I'm looking forward to your iPhone 15 pro drop test ;-p (apparently said to be worst than previous 14 pro)
You're welcome. I don't have a drop test planned since overall there has been no improvements to the glass made over the year before so results wouldn't be any better, but someone already did do a drop test from appleinsider I believe and the results were poor compared to last years.
We wanna see the new Prism Zoom thingy on the Max. Thanks
Really enjoyed that - thank you.
You're welcome :)
What camera do you use to record video?
After seeing how easy this is (thanks to you), I’ve decided to not get AppleCare for my 15PM. I only wanted it because the glass black plate breaks relatively easy due to it’s weight. Cheers!
I've got bad news for you mate. you still can't change the back glass without going insane and lose a bunch of functions of the phone alongside it.
Yup its easier for screen and back replacements, but everything else is complicated. Not to mention you would have to probably pry off (if even possible) the wireless charging coil with flex and move it over to the replacement back glass since almost certainly apple will have a software lock in place tying that part to the phone.
@@Daridddayou can if you go to an Apple authorized service provider or Apples store and pay them to do it.
I'm glad it's easier to repair. With that said, I can't believe they still haven't added a more robust cooling solution
I know, right? one would think.
Awesome video! One question, is the wireless charging thing glued to the back glass? If so is it too hard to unglue? Thanks!
Yeah its adhered to it, not sure how strong since I didn't try to pry it off, but from the looks of it from other people who tested, the back glass with wireless charging coil can be replaced without any software lock issues so replacements should not be a problem.
Wow! love it
👍

Whatever you say especialist are great to create such smart things
You have my respect bro 😎
Thank you 👍
Всегда качественно собирали Эпл
🎉🎉🎉 great job
👍 thanks
The repairability is actually amazing. If you think about how difficult the 12s or 13s were.
Super Video 😁.
Thank you 👍
Is the battery replacing the sim space
I'm always struck by how big the battery is compared to other more complicated subsystems within the phone. Power is the Achilles heel of humanity. Whether in a car, home, or a phone, engineers must devote so much space to house batteries or tanks and then come up with ways to dissipate the heat it generates. Plus, it is almost always the weakest link in a system. We have to think like Star Trek and come up with a way to power stuff more cleanly.
Solid state batteries 🙌
Nuclear Fusion
@@bigpoppa611 in a mobile device nice
@@kendelionnuclear fusion is actually very safe.
@@RolandKoller90 safe or not is not the problem. Size is :p
Now the first teardown ever.
👍
no drop test on the iphone?
Did I hear that right you have to remove the back glass in order to remove the charge port!
yup, because the prongs for the back glass on bottom cover the charger port screws from inside the frame, so you have to remove the back glass to be able to remove those screws lol.
@@PBKreviews stupid Apple move
yup
My pre-order IPhone 15 + wasn't arrive yet and you already teardown iPhone 15 Pro 😂
😂
Keep up the good work! waiting for 15 or 15 plus!
Thanks!
Love from Bangladesh 😍😍😍
:) 👍
WoW! Those are many flex cables.
Yup!
NFC antena is in the main board?
nice
👍
which the UWB antenna in this ? 🤔
I see the connectors are still that bad quality that they need a plate screwed down to keep them from falling out on there own.
This is the video that Jerryrigeverything will refer to for his teardown 😂 - love your content bro 👍🏿
lol thanks :)
Damn boi you’re fast
