A good translation , imo , is not the one that just translates word to word. It should translate the meaning , the emotion, the scene and everything that emphasises the speech as closely as possible. Idk japanese but I hear that they have a wide variety of words and sounds , and that their speech consists of more than what english words can convey so sometimes , a translation that is not exactly right word to word may represent the speaker in a more "true-to-character" way and that , imo is what a good translator does .

It's been a year since I actually watched this video. Thank you Lyger, for making me fall into the Hololive Hole. It's been a while and because of you, Hololive, and Matsuri, my 2020 was actually bearable, dare I say better. Again, thank you for your work and I thank Matsuri for being herself throughout the year.
I think this is how I got in to vtuber hell a while back. I saw it on FB and got curious to see if she has more conversations like this and to my surprise she's always like this. Then, the clip of Miko playing GTA was going viral. Fubuki doing scatman and it's just been a roller coaster since then. Korone and Okayu, Aqua, Pekora, list goes on, even some from Nijisanji and even other independent/new groups are coming up.
